A few weeks ago I stepped up and became CEO at Yuga. I joined BAYC in June 2021. Anyone who was around back then will never forget that ride: Doggo airdrop, mutant mint, casino night, and the first Apefest - it was a slingshot out of the pandemic and into a new frontier. Over the past year I’ve been sharpening the focus on Otherside. As CEO, my goal is to extend that discipline across all of Yuga. BAYC is the best club on the internet. The Club needs to be part of your world, not just your timeline. We’ll be doing way more stuff together as a club - meetups, moments, access, apparel. I see all of this guided by three pillars: IRL, Storytelling, and Style. While I’m handling operations, I’m excited that Garga will be freed up to be going deeper on the BAYC creative and world-building he’s always been best at. With Otherside, we’re developing a world class social platform for digital ownership and crypto. People will explore Otherdeeds, compete for resources, and build their own experiences. To win, we’re going to need to grow our user base a lot, and prove how every community can succeed in Otherside. We’ve made a lot of progress over the last few weeks and I’m stoked to show you, there’s a lot more ahead.

I know it sounds cliche but IRL really is the alpha. Mudwater was stressful ngl. There was a lot to get into place right up until the last minute but we fucking did it and I'm so proud of the team and the work we put in. clubhouse and anime are still coming btw, I know people wanted announcements or a keynote or whatever but sometimes the timing doesn't line up with apefest. That doesn't mean Yuga forgot or abandoned those plans. Sometimes it's just about getting everybody together and having a good time. I love that shit. Every year, seeing old friends and making new ones. Finally putting faces to names. This club is special. I say it every year but we are in such a unique position to have connections all over the world that share this common interest. If you're an ape, you have a friend in every city on earth. One in every hobby and every industry. It's hard to describe how unique and special our weird little group of internet jpeg collectors is. I don't really know what the point of this post is other than to say I'm so thankful for the club and for everybody I met and didn't get to meet this weekend. So many people I wish I could've spent some time with, or more time with. Just know you're all always welcome in my part of the world. If you need a couch, or dinner recs, or a good cup of coffee, let's fucking do it. we don't need to wait for apefest every year. I give my everything to this space because it's given everything to me. Y'all will always be family. Bored Apes Forever.

every night leading up to apefest, beeple stayed super late, way past the point when everyone else left, so he could create more surprises and refine shit that maximized the impact of apefest for apes whether it was robots, sculptures, prints, graphics, or logistics - he’d leave at 3am and be back in at 9am to keep pushing over the last 20 years I’ve worked with some of the best artists in the world, but there’s no else like beeple we were fortunate to be hosted, and have our ape world lensed by him thank you beeps 🦍🦍🦍

mood board vs reality

One hell of a ride. BAYC x @BMW

@boredApeYC just entered a new era of collecting

The highlight of 2026 for me is going to be ApeFest at Beeple Studios. After attending hundreds of events over the past three years, ApeFest still remains the best. My first IRL event was ApeFest 2023 in Hong Kong and it was so gud that I never stopped attending IRL events. I got to meet @beeple and @AdamWeitsman in person and got a lot of my collectibles signed. I’m not just taking home new connections but also: - Beeple Everydays Cards signed by Beeple. - 2 BAYC Mudwater Booster Boxes signed by Beeple and Figge. - 3 unsigned BAYC Mudwater Booster Boxes. 1 signed and 1 unsigned BMW x BAYC promo card along with the promo pack. - 1 signed Nakamigos poster. - 12 Otherside Koda Blind Boxes. - An MAYC tote bag and an insane amount of merch. - Memories of my brother’s birthday celebration with the Ape community at a steakhouse in NYC. - Got to see my Beeple Everydays Error Card painting on the wall at Beeple Studios which made me feel so gud. It wasn’t just an ApeFest, it was a perfect blend of a collectors’ get-together and a concert at Beeple Studios something I don’t think has ever been done before. The entire venue was very well-curated both inside and out. The BAYC team and Beeple were incredible hosts to everyone who attended ApeFest 2026. They took care of everyone regardless of who they were and greeted people as if they had known them for years. Words are not enough to express how I feel inside. It was worth every penny and every minute of my time flying to NYC after Token2049 Singapore. Thank you for making me feel like a family member!

GMMMMM still very much recovering from apefest but super super appreciate all of the kind words and had a blast hosting this community. i know it's become a joke to say, but it's ironically true that the connections we make and the the people we meet are the biggest draw to what we are building. this is no different from other communities that have been built around shared in things with more established social consensus. we are just very to early society understanding and accepting virtual items having real world value. but the world is becoming no less digital so the winds of change are very much at our backs. it will just take time. but whether is is art or collectibles, showing up in person and celebrating our joy of these things is a huge part of how we build lasting movements. i am extremely honored to be able to be a small part of that and can assure you i am just getting started. tldr; STILL HERE. ❤️🦾🙏

No one knows what tomorrow holds, but one things for sure… I’ll be giving my all and then some for the club, the club members, and the team. This ApeFest was special 🦍❤️‍🔥🐆 Bored Ape Yacht Club
