Despite Hamas’s ongoing attempts to spread false narratives about alleged shortages in the Gaza Strip, particularly following protests by private-sector merchants against Hamas, the facts on the ground tell a different story: Gaza is flooded with humanitarian aid and food supplies. Since the October 2025 ceasefire, over 2.2 million tons of food have entered Gaza. Hundreds of aid trucks enter Gaza daily, with 70–80% carrying food. Additionally, 41 bakeries produce over 3 million pitas daily, around 100 kitchens remain operational, and market food prices have dropped by 83%. Further evidence of food availability includes uncollected food boxes on Gaza’s streets, UN reports indicating an improved food situation, and a statement by the head of Gaza’s Bakers Association. Despite Hamas’s attempts to falsely portray Israel as obstructing the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza, COGAT will continue facilitating its entry, ensuring a steady flow of food and essential supplies. Watch Major Ross, Deputy Head of COGAT’s International Relations Branch, show the hundreds of trucks carrying fresh food into Gaza daily.

FACT: In the last 20 years, Israel has had 10 elections (incl. the one today). The Palestinian Authority has not had a single one during that time. Hello all you democratic warriors, where are you?

At my polling station in Jerusalem there is a very festive atmosphere (and what seems like high turnout.) Whatever their political leanings, Israelis are proud of their democracy.

While Israelis are set to cast their votes in the election today, Dr Einat Wilf (@EinatWilf) – intellectual, former Israeli MK, election candidate – has a stark warning for whoever forms the next government: Israel cannot afford to underestimate the growing threat of international isolation. From sporting boycotts to economic sanctions and exclusion from international institutions, Wilf argues that Israel's political leadership – across both sides of politics – is failing to grasp the magnitude of the challenge. And while politicians may prefer to avoid confronting difficult questions, Wilf warns that ignoring them won't make them go away. Watch the full interview, 'Getting Out of the Antizionist Matrix with Einat Wilf', on the Don't Know Much About with Naya Lekht YouTube Channel. Before the October 7 Massacre, Israel invested $1bn in a sophisticated border fence as a way of living next to Sinwar's Hamas regime in Gaza. The alternative was a major preemptive war to topple Hamas, like the one after October 7, with massive costs and zero international understanding. It failed miserably. Hamas overran it in minutes. The lesson Israelis have drawn is: we cannot, and will not, live next to a jihadi regime threatening barbaric atrocities. No fence, no buffer zone, can ever hold that threat back forever. The bad guys will always find a way over it, under it, or through it. We're not going to contain problems—we're going to eliminate them. Netanyahu is being attacked left and right for leaving Hamas standing at the end of the Gaza war, as part of the ceasefire that brought the surviving hostages home. Whoever forms the next government has unfinished business against the regime that is threatening to kidnap little babies all over again. Nobody in Israel will accept living next to Hamas Gaza.
