After more than three years with
#UNHCR, where I worked in communication across Africa, my time there has come to an end as the humanitarian sector faces severe funding cuts.
This work changed how I see communication. It is more than messaging. It is about what gets shown, what gets simplified, and what is left out entirely.
This work is also personal. I experienced displacement at a young age, and it continues to shape my commitment to ensuring
#refugees are at the centre of humanitarian storytelling.
I am now returning to the independent media space, focusing on
#ethical storytelling and regional analysis around forced displacement and migration.
