This Black History Month, we're celebrating the colleagues whose talent, innovation and ambition are helping to shape Mitie for the better.
Introducing Mitie Lead Data Analyst, Temi Bakare.
After expressing an interest in data and artificial intelligence, Temi joined Mitie’s Priority IPA team as a Mitie Customer Service Agent in our Manchester Technical Services Operations Centre.
There he played a key role in developing Barry, Mitie’s first AI Email Bot, alongside other service bots that have created more than 40,000 Service Requests with over 95% accuracy.
This opportunity led to his current role as a Lead Data Analyst, driving smarter decision-making by building automated reporting and insight across Mitie.

Mitie has been appointed to deliver the full mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) installation for Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg (YGG) Rhosafan, a new primary school in Port Talbot, Wales.
Low-carbon technologies such as solar PV, air source heat pumps and intelligent LED lighting systems will be installed by Mitie to support the delivery of a net zero carbon school targeting BREEAM Excellent certification and an EPC A+ rating.
The school will provide 420 primary-aged pupils with a modern learning environment, including 16 classrooms and a childcare and nursery facility.

Mitie secures three-year extension to deliver integrated facilities management (IFM) services including engineering, maintenance, cleaning, waste management, grounds maintenance and catering at Sellafield through the Cumbria Consortium.
The renewed agreement will see Mitie continue investing in skills, employment and economic growth across Cumbria through apprenticeships, work experience opportunities and its Business Boost initiative.
Building on Mitie’s long-standing relationship with Sellafield, the extension follows the recent appointment of its OneAxIoM joint venture to the site’s Project and Asset Care Execution (PACE) framework.
