EFF Incoming Mayor of Johannesburg, Fighter @drtlaleng, speaking to SABC ahead of the Tshela Thupa Rally, taking place at Orlando Stadium today at 12h00!

A city that fails to invest in integration and improved quality of life for all its citizens will always suffer the brunt of those policy decisions.
Ideology matters very much in local government. Service delivery and budget priorities are not written in biblical scripture.

Tomorrow, the @EFFSouthAfrica will hold its Tshela Thupa rally in Orlando Stadium, concluding the final phase of the elections campaign. Tomorrow also marks exactly six months since the Premier of Gauteng appointed the EFF Gauteng Chairperson, Commissar Nkululeko Dunga (@DungaLeko) as MEC of Finance, custodian of the R179 billion provincial budget in a province that contributes more than 32.5% of the country's GDP.
Of all the media articles published when Chair was appointed, it was the Business Day (@BDliveSA) article that claimed his appointment "was not in good faith". So when the MEC invited the media to hear his account of the past 6 months in office, we saw an opportunity to challenge the notion that the EFF cannot be in a coalition without chaos, and to confront some of these DA-sponsored media characterisations. And we did.
For this budget to work, let's go and win, Fighter! We need a Johannesburg that works.

This is why, in a world ever more driven by populist hate, I could not be prouder to be voting for Dr T this year, and I hope you do too.

Delighted to join the Conflict Dynamics panel of mediators!
Conflict is human. Resolving it should leave room for our humanity too. I look forward to helping people find practical ways forward, grounded in dignity and fairness.

We will reflect on but also celebrate the discipline and commitment of the EFF leadership and all of us the ground forces as we move towards victory in the local government elections.

A first marathon finish deserves a proper celebration. A year ago it felt unimaginable; now there is a finish-line photo and a medal to settle the matter.
🏅Medal Monday🏅
Marathon debut: finished! 🏅
Last year, I couldn’t imagine it. On the course, I wanted to give up more times than I can count. But I crossed that finish line. Heart full.
Legs considering legal action. 😂❤️
