IOE, UCL’s Faculty of Education and Society, the Goethe Institut and the British Council - working collaboratively to raise the profile of language learning
Want to discuss the future of language education? This week, our team will be at the @BERANews' annual conference at the The University of Manchester 💬
We're excited to present our panel discussion on Wednesday 9th September at 9am.
The panel will feature Honorary Professor Bernardette Holmes, MBE, NCLE Director at UCL Institute of Education, Associate Professor Karen Hanrahan, and M Waret, Senior Curriculum Developer.
The discussion will explore the development of the Languages Educators Online (LEO) CPD platform and how LEO supports language educators through research-informed, reflective, and practice-oriented professional learning.
If you're attending, we would be delighted to welcome you!

📚 It was inspiring to hear teachers from Morocco and the UK share how their school partnership is making a real difference. Through reading, students are building international connections, exploring new perspectives and creating a global reading community.
UK secondary schools can now apply to partner with a school in Morocco and inspire young people to read for pleasure.
