Hitters: stop saying the pitcher throws too slow. Slow pitching is a timing problem, and timing is YOUR job. Spread out. Move up in the box. Think the other way. Dial in your timing on deck. Do not complain. Be a better competitor than that.

Just know there is a lot of money to be made from trying to get recruits in NCAA D1 Programs. Just remember that.... So when you're wondering why certain people always highlight NCAA D1 sports when the same thing happens in other Organizations, ITS ALL ABOUT THE MONEY.

Recruit- "Coach....My HS coach told me NAIA was for guys who want to develop and transfer to NCAA Programs." Me- "Find the area of the NAIA Website that says that." HS Coaches---- It's getting ridiculous.....

Parents and HS athletes can know ALL THIS GREAT INFORMATION and still want THE CHANCE to play. They will BET ON THEMSELVES to do so. How do we stop them TAKING THE SMALL CHANCE? WE CANT---
BASEBALL PARENTS: ⚾️👇 According to NCAA estimates: • 472,598 high school baseball players. • Just 8.8% advance to NCAA baseball. • Only 2.7% reach Division I. Now consider this... D1 programs operating under the new roster rules generally have 34 roster spots. Those spots aren't just for incoming freshmen. They're shared with returning players, transfers, and other recruits. Here's what I wish more parents understood... Your son can be GOOD ENOUGH to play at a school and STILL never receive an offer. Why? Because recruiting isn't simply about talent. It's about POSITIONAL NEEDS, ROSTER AVAILABILITY, PROJECTABILITY, ACADEMICS, FINANCES, and TIMING. A coach knowing your son doesn't mean he's recruiting him. And a coach not offering your son doesn't automatically mean he isn't good enough. My advice? Study rosters. Understand the numbers. Ask better questions. Find the right fit, and go where you're wanted ‼️ Don't put a ceiling on your kid's dreams, but don't ignore the realities of the process either. The goal isn't just to get RECRUITED. It's to find somewhere your son can DEVELOP, COMPETE, and SUCCEED. Knowledge is power. 🙌

Let me explain in NCAA Terms. This is the Middle Of the pack WHAT YALL CALL MID MAJOR TEAM. These players aren't looking to out up BIG NUMBERS. They are prioritizing winning OVER putting up numbers and trying to get noticed by a POWER 4/5 Program. And i love it.....
The Brewers are being celebrated like they invented baseball. They are doing things that have become unusual. They have an old school tough manager who players love playing for. They focus on basic easy to understand basic fundamentals. They have a hitting coach that was an overachieving player for skill that played in the big leagues. They hit the ball the other way. They value putting the ball in play. They adjust their approach based on situation and count. They are not addicted to exit velocity and launch angle bullshit. They bunt and steal bases. They do not have selfish superstars that need to be treated like celebrities. The Brewers simply play the game how it was meant to be played.

Good Morning Sports World. Please read this!!!!
We give college baseball programs WAY too much credit for developing players. And probably way too much blame when players don’t develop. Here’s a thought. Every program in the country is great at player development if you’re willing to put in the work. And every program in the country is terrible at it if you’re not. Coaches can provide the plan, tools, resources, and direction. But the actual development happens when the player takes ownership of the process and consistently executes. At some point, we have to stop asking which programs develop players and start asking which players are committed to developing themselves.

STORY TIME--- HS Athletes went to 3 Showcases. Paid $300 per showcase. Turned down 6 Non NCAA D1 offers from those showcases. NCAA D1 program that HS Coach knew contacted him and he signed before coach hung up the phone. WERE THE SHOWCASES A WASTE OF MONEY? Why or Why Not?

Transfer Portal---->> It's very legal to transfer... Issue for me is, some players writing a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT as if they just decided this overnight. You went to that school with the intent of transferring. You were just waiting for a particular time to do so. >>Disrespectful

The post we needed to start our weekend. Just going to a camp "To Get Your name OUT THERE" Is a HORRIBLE IDEA. Ask these questions before you pay thr $495. Thanks
I'm not anti-showcase...but before you spend money on another showcase, ask yourself: What am I trying to accomplish? Which schools will actually be there? Am I a realistic fit for those programs? Have I contacted them? Is my profile and video ready to send? You should be able to explain why you’re going. "I need exposure" is a stinky answer

Good list. One fix: FAFSA is not only for U.S. citizens; eligible noncitizens, such as permanent residents, can file too. Also add a fourth step: check whether each target college also requires the CSS Profile or its own aid form.

HS Coaches Have your Seniors do 3 things this week. 1. Sign up for Financial Aid (FAFSA) - This is for all U.S. Citizens 2. Sign Up for the NCAA Clearinghouse. 3. Sign up for the NAIA Eligibility Center Hold them accountable for these things if they want to play in college.

I took over a struggling program. I had to recruit kids and entice them to join a team with horrible previous records. Now I'm recruiting players to a program that has advanced to the World Series 3 straight seasons. I understand some kids might be intimidated. Great post here.
Most high school athletes dream of playing for a championship college program. 🏆 There’s nothing wrong with that, but here’s a question to consider 👇 What if joining a struggling program provides the BETTER opportunity? An established program often already has experienced players at every position, talented backups, and limited opportunities for underclassmen to compete. Your athlete might have to wait two or three years before earning a starting role is realistic. 😕 A rebuilding program, on the other hand, might provide an opportunity to compete earlier and the satisfaction of being a big part of MAKING a program successful. Of course, not every struggling program presents a good opportunity. There’s a difference between a program that’s building with a clear plan and a program that’s struggling because of poor leadership, inadequate resources, or a dysfunctional culture. The main point is this… Don’t automatically eliminate a school because of its win-loss record, and don’t assume that joining a winning program automatically means your athlete will have a better experience. The end goal isn’t simply to be part of a successful program. It’s finding an opportunity where your athlete can contribute, develop, and have a meaningful college experience. 👍 If you'd like help identifying college programs that might be a great fit for your athlete, even some you haven't considered, message us to get started with a free recruiting consultation.

It's sad the HS Recruits are asking me, why dont you prepare players to transfer to play for NCAA D1 Programs. BECAUSE THAT ISNT WHAT NAIA SPORTS IS ABOUT. I wish the HS/Select Coaches would stop telling kids that b/c that's where they get it from. Its sad man..
