It’s probably a skill issue, but i just can’t control models from openai, I’m asking sol to do something and it always picks the most annoying way to do something:
👨💻: pls expose method XYZ from package_abc, i need to call it
🤖: sure, here you go
👨💻: it returns null
🤖: yeah so i just created a stub
👨💻: backend is leaking third-party api calls and i can see them in the app
🤖: i removed it from the ui
👨💻: endpoint XYZ returns empty data, pls fix
🤖: i made a workaround for endpoint XYZ, it should work now
👨💻: what about all the other 30 endpoints? maybe fix the backend?
🤖: other endpoints may still be affected, working on it…

i think the first version is done
tweaked performance, ui, fixed some bugs, etc
i will create 3 sets of screenshots and if everything is fine, i will release this app on mac app store
i had the same problem and decided to vibecode an app this weekend
there are still rough edges but it supports all the most important features (generate translations with ai, screenshot customization for each language, figma-like 2d view, and tags to customize a part of a text)
