We’re heading to ASRM 2026 in Baltimore next week! We're building a future where everyone has more information and more choice when it comes to their genetic health and that of their future families. IVF is one important way to make that future possible, and we're excited to connect with the wider community of clinicians, researchers, and scientists helping advance what's possible. If you'll be there, send us a DM!

A major milestone for the future of reproductive genetics. Landmark human embryo gene-editing research, co-authored by Nucleus’ own @TreffDNA and led by @Columbia's @EgliDieter, has now been published in @Nature. The study demonstrates a promising new approach to correcting disease-causing DNA in human embryos, laying critical groundwork for the technology. Read it at the link below.

AI is rapidly getting smarter. Now, humanity can too. Today, @nucleusgenomics is announcing Vitruvian, our newest set of genetic optimization models. Vitruvian’s intelligence model can optimize embryo DNA for 14 IQ points — nearly a standard deviation. The models were trained on 1,000,000+ people, validated across 40,000+ siblings, and used more than 7 million genetic markers. In Superintelligence, Nick Bostrom proposed genetic optimization as a key way for humanity to keep pace with rapidly advancing AI. Bostrom’s vision is no longer theoretical. Genetic optimization, like AI, has followed a scaling law: as datasets have grown, so have model capabilities. This trend will continue. Parents across the world now have the choice to substantially increase their child’s intelligence. And the next generation can choose to do the same. AI is no longer the only intelligence that will compound. Humanity can now direct its own evolution.

Better data means better genetic insights. The NIH’s All of Us Research Program just released the world’s largest integrated health database — with genetic and health data from more than 700,000 people, including populations historically underrepresented in genomic research. For Nucleus, more representative data means better models, better insights, and ultimately making genetics more useful for everyone. Dive into our research below.
