Since everyone is so concerned about Chainlink's fees - lets see where fees accrue in this example DTCC workflow - > ethereum (but could be any chain) - whatever current gas fee is to lock token on mainnet (1 gwei is currently $.004 and scheduled to go lower) > DTCC Besu Based AppChain - ZERO gas fees > Chainlink - $.14 $LINK orchestration fee Replicated across txs that exceed $20T daily. There are a thousand public chains There are hundreds of private chains All locked in a gas race to zero Abstracted and Orchestrated with the all the real-world's offchain systems and data by Chainlink. There is only one $LINK.
the token not needed meme is low IQ bait. The worlds institutions are not hoarding gas tokens just to use public blockchain. Chainlink nodes do not accept anything execpt $LINK for providing Chainlink services. All Chainlink workflows settle in $LINK. Overcollateralization has to do with the terms of the lending agreement between counterparties - it has nothing to do with Chainlink. Moving value is just one step in orchestrating the Collateral Management process.

Chainlink keeps pumping out new products that all the institutions need. They are literally being told "We need this solved" and Chainlink leans into the fact it holds all the marbles (data + interop + orchestration + more) to make it happen. Collateral stays with the custodian. When an institution deposits collateral with their qualified custodian, the custody balance is published onchain via Chainlink Proof of Reserve, providing a verifiable onchain record of collateral anyone can verify. Collateral is represented onchain. A transfer-restricted receipt token representing the assets held in custody is then posted to the onchain lending market. Its supply reflects the assets held in custody and carries no claim on the underlying assets outside the lending integration. Clients borrow directly. Assets move from the lending market to the borrower in a single transaction. Every borrow, repayment, and interest accrual is recorded in the custodian's records automatically. Both systems priced from the same source. The lending market reads Chainlink Data Feeds onchain, while Chainlink Data Streams deliver identical values directly to the custodian’s offchain systems, so both sides calculate LTV from the same data. The collateral agent facilitates liquidations. If a loan breaches the defined liquidation threshold, the appointed collateral agent sells through its own process. CustodySync records the committed sale proceeds onchain ensuring the position remains stable while the sale settles, with final settlement executing via a single atomic transaction. CustodySync combines multiple components of the broader Chainlink platform into a single solution: $LINK
Chainlink Just Gave Big Institutions a Safe Way Into DeFi Lending @Chainlink released a solution called CustodySync. With this solution, eligible custodians will let institutional customers access the DeFi lending market while keeping assets in custody at all times. @Anchorage, which runs the country’s first federally chartered digital asset bank, is the official launch partner and its first custodian. This opportunity is big. The DeFi lending market is $80 billion, while about $700 billion in digital assets under custody represents only 0.5% of total assets under custody. The new solution helps keep custody and lending systems aligned, so there are no premature or delayed liquidations due to valuation discrepancies in loans.

$700 billion of crypto sits in custody doing nothing. Chainlink CustodySync lets it borrow from DeFi without ever leaving the vault.
Introducing Chainlink CustodySync, a new solution that lets qualified custodians give their institutional clients access to DeFi lending markets, all while assets remain securely in custody. With @Anchorage as the official launch partner, together we’re establishing a new standard for institutional DeFi. CustodySync keeps custody and lending systems in sync across the full lifecycle of a loan: → For custodians: faster time to market and lower operational overhead, with custodian-managed controls → For lending markets: independent, verifiable data and a consistent risk framework → For institutions: passive capital becomes productive capital More than $80 billion sits in DeFi lending markets. Meanwhile, the roughly $700 billion in digital assets under custody is less than 0.5% of all $250 trillion in traditional assets under custody. The opportunity to connect traditional institutional capital to onchain finance remains vast. Large institutions have lacked a secure way of accessing these markets. Regulations require many of them to keep their digital assets with a qualified custodian, a firm that meets specific requirements for holding assets on behalf of clients, and custody systems were never built for DeFi. Even when custody and lending systems are connected, inconsistent loan valuations can trigger premature liquidation or delayed liquidations, exposing borrowers and lenders to significant financial risk. @Anchorage, home to the first federally chartered digital asset bank in the U.S., is the first qualified custodian to adopt CustodySync, connecting its institutional clients to DeFi lending markets while their assets remain in regulated custody. Institutional capital no longer has to choose between the security of custody and the liquidity of DeFi. With Chainlink, it gets both.

This paper answers why confident idiots run the world. Cornell University published a psychological paper that explains every terrible boss, every loud influencer, and every broken corporate hierarchy. It’s called “Unskilled and Unaware of It.” they tested participants across logic, grammar, and humor to measure the gap between actual performance and self-perception. And the results are wild. participants scoring in the bottom 12th percentile consistently believed they were operating in the 62nd percentile. they were not lying. they were literally incapable of recognizing their own incompetence. the paper revealed a brutal paradox: the exact skills required to master a domain are the exact same skills required to accurately evaluate your own competence in that domain. if you lack the skill, you inherently lack the cognitive capacity to realize you are failing. this creates a dangerous systemic loop. the incompetent are blessed with absolute, blinding certainty. their brain protects them from their own ignorance, allowing them to speak first, demand authority, and never second-guess their decisions. meanwhile, the actual experts suffer the exact inverse. top performers in the study consistently underestimated their rank. because a task was easy for them, they falsely assumed it was easy for everyone else. they hesitate. they obsess over nuance. they assume they have nothing unique to add. we are biologically wired to confuse confidence with competence. the loudest person in the room gets promoted, gets funded, and gets the microphone, not because they know what they are doing, but because they are physically incapable of seeing what they don't. the only defense mechanism is building systems that stop rewarding absolute certainty and start demanding proof of work.

.@cryptohayes dumped on crypto twitter for 12 years before Bitmex had to fold. $LINK ICO was Sept 2017. Do we think Chainlink will outlast that? You suck arthur. Chainlink took away your power to move onchain markets. And you act like you dont know how the system works - while continuing to dump on your followers after every time you bull post some shitcoin. STELLAR COMPLETES 72 AUTOMATED LOAN RENEWALS USING TOKENIZED BONDS A real financial transaction on Stellar shows how blockchain technology could change the way institutions borrow money. On October 23rd, 2026, Ascend and M1X Global announced they’d completed a loan using a digital government bond backed by U.S. Treasury securities. The bond was used as security to borrow USDC, a digital dollar. Here’s what makes this interesting. THE LOAN RENEWED ITSELF 72 TIMES Between October 16th and 19th, the loan was automatically renewed 72 times, including over the weekend. The reported annual borrowing rate was 3.98%. According to Ascend, the loan was repaid and the bond was returned. The total Stellar network fees for those 72 renewals were reportedly less than one cent. WHY DOES THIS MATTER? Banks regularly use bonds as security when borrowing money. But traditional financial systems often depend on business hours and several companies working together. Stellar has now demonstrated how this process can run automatically, even on weekends. There’s also more to watch. Ascend says its financial partners expect to make $100 million available for future activity in early 2027. That money hasn’t been deployed yet, and the amount borrowed in this first transaction hasn’t been disclosed. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR $XLM? This is evidence that Stellar can support real financial activity. But it doesn’t automatically create major demand for XLM. The loan used USDC, while XLM was mainly needed for small network fees. The next step is seeing whether more institutions begin using this system and whether the amounts borrowed grow. One completed transaction shows the technology can work. Regular use would be stronger evidence of adoption. $XLM #Stellar #RWA #Tokenization
