The commonly stated path to mastery requires 10,000 hours of practice/training. Thatās 3 hours per day, every day, for ~10 years. Fortunately for us shooters, it requires nowhere near that much time. Mcnutt is over here placing 97% at nationals after 18 months of work. Is he an anomaly? Yeah absolutely. That by no means is something you should expect, but the point is it is absolutely within the realm of possibility. This is partly why I have little to no sympathy for people who talk big about wanting to improve but canāt even find 15 minutes a day to devote to it. Yeah I know youāre busy and have a dozen reasons that are totally legitimate barriers. Everyone is busy and everyone has shit going on. If you want it you have to make the time.
Get some.
