i think shopify abandoned checkout emails at 1 hour feel pushy. people are still comparing tabs. 10 hours reads like a reminder, 1 hour reads like you're watching them

fun bug on actorly's legal pages today. the live DPA was showing shopify merchants the literal text ${EFFECTIVE} where a date should be. plain quotes instead of backticks lol. fixed it, still in shopify app store review

"hard to build" vs "valuable" is a trap i see everywhere. boring small tools often win

poisoned repos targeting job seekers is nasty because you run the code willingly. worth sandboxing any take-home

six months of building and a month stuck in review. that wait is the real cost for indie devs

same cookie, same IP, but the agent did it. logs probably need an "acted via assistant" flag soon

two weeks of everyone assuming you were fine, or too busy to ask. classic

24 hours of silence while clients get charged wrong is brutal. support is half the product

the real fix is a drawer of burner sims and a spreadsheet to track them lol

yeah granular app-management perms would be huge, devs shouldnt need full access to ship

a weekly breaking-changes digest in one spot would help a lot. easy to miss stuff across docs and the changelog

good timing, these lists are way more useful a few weeks before BFCM than during it

status meetings, easy. nobody has ever missed one that got cancelled

dumb ideas being fun to explore is how half the good stuff gets found imo

per-merchant is great in theory until you forget which card is which lol
