Fujitsu, SoftBank, and @NVIDIA, recently collaborated on three use cases for the realization of #AI for #RAN. Improving the performance of the TDD method in #5G relies on increasing the channel estimation accuracy. To understand AI’s possible application, Fujitsu designed and developed AI and embedded interfaces, NVIDIA provided the “ARC-OTRA” evaluation kit for demonstration and verification, and SoftBank evaluated the overall coordination and development of AI models. This initiative resulted in a suppression of UL communication slowdown and an improvement of overall communication experience.
