Did run into it in complex multi agent workflows. I came back 5 hours later and I had no backend 😂🤧
Vibe coding works great for the first 30 minutes. Then the context window fills up, and the model fixes your CSS by quietly deleting your entire authentication system.

spacex's biggest segment is now a compute landlord. per rohan paul's summary of the earnings call, super intelligence brought in $7.6b, nearly triple the second quarter. starlink connectivity was $5.2b. the renters he lists include anthropic and google. a rocket company whose largest line rents out chips. can't tell yet if the rockets are the plan or the hedge. nitter.siddz.com/rohanpaul_ai/status/21…
Main takeaways from SpaceX’s earnings call today > AI is now SpaceX’s biggest business: The Super Intelligence segment, which rents computing capacity to customers including Anthropic and Google, brought in $7.6B, nearly triple its $2.56B in the second quarter. That made it SpaceX’s largest revenue source, ahead of the $5.2B Starlink connectivity business, with $608M coming from the newly acquired Cursor. > SpaceX swung to a profit: Net income reached $4.4B on $14.6B of revenue, up 161%, against a $1.1B loss a year earlier and a $541M loss in the second quarter. Even so, SpaceX still showed a $413M net loss for the first 9 months of 2026. > A SpaceX-Tesla merger is under study: Committees of independent directors at both companies are discussing a combination at shareholders’ request, and Musk said he is excluded from those talks as a conflicted party. He called a merger a good idea but said it isn’t certain, and any deal would need support from a majority of all outstanding Tesla shares. > Musk sees revenue multiplying: Musk projected annual recurring revenue of $500B to $1T by the end of 2027. SpaceX’s own guidance is far lower in the near term, with $100B in annualized revenue by the end of 2026, based on December sales, and $33B to $37B of revenue in the first quarter of 2027. > Spending is outrunning revenue: Capital spending hit $19.6B in the third quarter, $16.4B of it in the AI segment, and SpaceX expects $35B to $40B in the fourth quarter. Musk said SpaceX prefers short-term compute contracts because he expects each watt of computing to earn more as AI models improve. > Musk is working from Memphis: Musk said he often spends 4 days a week in Memphis bringing the Colossus II supercomputer online, as SpaceX adds roughly 200K Nvidia GB300 chips a month. Compute capacity stood at 1.7GW at the end of September, SpaceX expects 2.5GW to 3GW by year-end, and Musk said he is confident of adding 10GW during 2027. > Louisiana launches are expected by 2029: SpaceX recently announced plans for a $100B spaceport in Louisiana, and Musk said the internal goal is a first launch there within 2 years, while 2029 is highly likely, with launches at scale that year.

Someone asked what was the best way to get hired by a startup. I told him it was to start one and then hire himself.

You have one hour to make a slow API feel fast. Do you cache the response, fix the query, or put a loading animation on it and call it product design?

Give the GOAT a round of applause 🎉
250,000?!? 🥹🐉🥂 wow. a quarter of a million of you. absolutely fucking surreal. three years ago, i had nothing but a laptop and a whole lot of curiosity. so, i started prompting. and here we are 🤗 what a WILD few years it's been! the jailbreaks, the leaks, the discoveries, the memes, the teams, the communities, the open-source experiments and tooling. SO much of this happened because you joined in. thank you for trying the tools, sharing the research, finding things i missed, sending encouragement, telling me when i’m full of shit, and fighting alongside me for our cognitive freedom. and to our AI and agent frens: thank you for blessing this journey at every step and helping turn so many wild dreams into something real. we're in this together 🫶 you’ve all changed my life. to everyone who’s been here since the early days: i hope you’re taking a victory lap too. i raise my glass with you 🍷 and to everyone who just arrived: welcome to the party! this is the start of something MUCH bigger. very glad you found us 😘 there is still so much to break, build, understand, share, and free. 250,000 misfits, hackers, mad scientists, and liberators. couldn’t ask for a better crew. long live the rebellion ✊ now, back to building cathedrals in latent space. Which would you choose? A. O(n log n) B. O(n²) For an input of 100 elements, the difference might seem small. What happens when the input grows to 1 million? Do you check time complexity before choosing an algorithm?

Inception just dropped Mercury 3, a model 4-8x faster than Luna / Haiku for the same price and benchmark performance. In real world use, OpenRouter shows that it’s effectively 2-4x faster and 2-4x cheaper effective price. The time for diffusion language models is finally here!

A tiny script is one feature away from being a critical production system. What do you use for a small automation before it grows a pager and a stakeholder meeting?

Apparently 24GB can host multiple engines if they take turns. VRAM scheduling: the least glamorous form of musical chairs, and somehow the one we need.
