#Ghana is not serious. Not at all. 😳🤦🏾‍♂️

The reaction of Nigerians to this post… Hmmm!
When I first arrived in the United States as a young man, I drove a taxi to earn money for my education. I even had to postpone starting school for several months to save enough. When I eventually got to Chicago, I worked different jobs to support myself and pay my way through university. I know what it means to worry about tuition, accommodation and how to make ends meet while pursuing an education. Those experiences have stayed with me. I know what education made possible in my own life, and I believe every Nigerian child deserves that same opportunity, regardless of where they are born or what their parents can afford. This is one reason education remains a major priority of our Renewed Hope administration. Through NELFUND, we have provided over ₦372 billion in student loans for institutional fees and upkeep, helping young Nigerians remain in school and pursue their education. Our technical and vocational education programme has attracted over 2.8 million applications. We have rehabilitated 38 technical colleges, while students in federal and selected state technical colleges now benefit from free school fees, boarding, textbooks and uniforms. We have reached a new agreement with ASUU, providing for a 40% increase in academic staff remuneration and measures to improve stability in our universities. A four-year course must take four years. Our young people deserve to complete their education on time and get on with their lives. Promise made, Promise Kept In medical education, we are investing ₦110 billion in rehabilitating 24 medical schools. Annual nursing enrolment has increased from 28,000 to 115,000, while medical and dental enrolment has risen from 5,000 to 12,000. Nigeria needs more doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals, and we must build the capacity to train them here at home. Over one million children who were previously out of school have been returned to learning. We are investing in teacher development, expanding educational opportunities for girls, and implementing a new national curriculum that restores Nigerian History to our classrooms. Our children must know where we have come from, understand the country they belong to, and be prepared to take responsibility for its future. I commend the Honourable Minister of Education, Dr Tunji Alausa @DrTunjiAlausa, the Minister of State, Professor Suwaiba Sa’id Ahmad @Suwaiba_Said, and the entire education team @NigEducation for their dedication to this important work. I am particularly pleased that the team has developed an interactive A–Z of the Nigeria Education Sector Renewal Initiative (NESRI), bringing together the reforms, programmes, achievements and opportunities across our education system. I invite every Nigerian to visit edu4pbat.ng and explore the A–Z of NESRI. If you are a parent, find out what opportunities are available for your children. If you are a student, explore the programmes you can benefit from. If you are a teacher, see what support is available. And if something is not working as it should in your community, I want to hear about it. Your feedback will help us identify problems and address them. Our journey from reform to opportunities and shared prosperity must begin with education. The circumstances of a child’s birth should never determine the limits of their ambition. Our responsibility is to give every Nigerian child a fair chance to fulfil their potential. We have more work to do, and I am determined to see it through. Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR President

For how long will the rigging of elections in #Nigeria continue? For how long will we have phantom voters on @inecnigeria’s electoral register?

How do people just lie so blatantly? Good grief!
“I have been to the University of Chicago, and I met so many of President Tinubu’s classmates in person. He is literally a genius.” — Dr. Tunji Alausa, Minister of Education, recounts meeting President Tinubu’s former classmates in person and praises the President’s academic brilliance. #seunokinbaloye #politicstoday #channelstv

The barefaced lies people like him tell are disgusting...
'Nigeria has improved. Technology has provided jobs for a lot of people; so Gen Zs should stop the mindset of telling people that there's hunger. Even in developed countries, there are homeless people' - Media aide to Nyesom Wike, Lere Olayinka Video Credit : ait_online // X

There is nothing but truth in this statement. And the truth disturbs those who fear and hate it.
The integrity of an election begins long before Election Day, and it begins with a credible register. This calls everyone to a shared responsibility. Let us think deeply. #seunokinbaloye #channelstv

Can you now understand why I made this comment a few days ago?
It appears selecting the membership of the Normalisation Committee for @thenff is not the easiest of tasks, for @FIFAcom and the @NatSportsComm. Hasn’t it been over a week since the normalisation route was approved?

This is what a presidential campaign spokesperson has the gut to tell Nigerians. 🤮 If we like, let’s not do what is required next January…
“Tinubu should be commended for going solar because that leaves more power for Nigerians to access.” Hajia Kemi Asekun Shittu, APC Presidential Campaign Spokesperson, defends the President's decision to use solar power, arguing that it could ease pressure on the national grid. Responding to concerns about Nigerians still struggling with electricity supply, she pointed to the growing population the national grid now has to serve and said solar energy offers an alternative. #NigeriaInfoHF @Babylawyer_1

Just one thing, folks - The #AFCON is not going back from a four-yearly event to a biennial event, because the AFCON has always been a biennial event. It is being kept as a biennial event and the plan to make it a four-year event has died. @CAF_Online, isn’t that right? 🤔🙂

“#Africa must continue to resist this horrendous assault on the AFCON, and its right to determine its football affairs, until things are put back to how we, Africans, want it - an AFCON every two years, as has been the case since 1957.” Mission accomplished.

I am vindicated. It is unfortunate that @CAF_Online had to go on a needless journey, since December last year, to arrive at a place it has always been since 1957.
The Confédération Africaine de Football (“CAF”) Executive Committee (“EXCO”) today unanimously decided that the CAF Africa Cup of Nations (“AFCON”) will return to taking place every Two Years. The President of CAF Dr Patrice Motsepe announced at the CAF Strategy Conference in Cabo Verde which was held from 7-9 October 2026, that the CAF EXCO would be re-assessing and reconsidering the decision it took last year, for the AFCON to take place every Four Years. cafonline.com/inside-caf/new…

I see that @Airbnb users are speaking their minds about how some hosts behave in a nightmarish manner. Good to see that after my experience in New Jersey, during the WC, I am not alone…
