the worst pattern in modern web app design is insisting on emailing a code after login. always makes me regret bothering 🤬

blown away by @joshpuckett's GraphicalUI. Makes putting together a design system really fun, but most impressively it was able to apply it to my soup of components and tidy them all up. absolutely worth the buy! graphicalui.com

homeview was an insta-buy over here:
- well designed + slick wall mount
- giant family calendar
- shopping list
- photos
- recipes
- doesn’t show me ads
ok since everyone's dunking on homeview, serious q: what would a screen on ur wall (or kitchen counter) have to do daily to earn the spot? i have thoughts.

I'm delighted to introduce Sundrop – a private photo app for parents. trysundrop.app ☀️
Sundrop finds your best photos and turns them into delightful keepsakes.
See your kids side-by-side at the same age. Watch timelapses of them growing up. Relive your family's week. And lots more.
Everything happens on your iPhone; your photos never touch our servers. (We wouldn't trust a company with our photo libraries, either.)
Sundrop has brought a lot of joy to our own families. We hope it does the same for yours!

Introducing Graphical.
It's a simple, powerful, and fun tool to design visual languages, style components, and work with coding agents to create interfaces that look memorable and feel unique.
I hope you'll check it out at graphicalui.com!

Decided to make a “HomeOS” for managing our family in one place and omg I wish I had done this years ago

Here's a quick demo of what HomeOS can do at the moment.
It has:
- A shared family feed
- The family inbox you can co-manage (It integrates with Gmail so we can keep using our regular inbox, with this layered in)
- Saved links
- Maintenance reminders
- A lil' subscription/finance management tool
- a workflow builder for automating stuff (eg summarize the kids' school emails and put them into the feed)
And the whole thing has MCP tools so agents can help too!

Had this e-ink display lying around for a while with no time….
Today I thought hey, that would make a cool little weather display for my 3 year old!
30 mins later, Codex had the entire thing working. 🤯
It’s gonna be hard to resist buying more fun lil hardware bits now

I’ve been building a Stripe-native tool that makes selling downloadable files (courses, videos, PDFs, etc!), super simple + beautiful. It’s finally ready!
I’m looking for creators that sell downloads and wish it was better to test + give feedback! 👀 deliverykit.app

craft 🤝 beauty and the role of design in the ai era is totally transforming—but for the better to elevate our work even further than we could before!!! so glad to work at stripe, where folks are embracing this mindset
Software is increasingly treated as disposable in the AI era. Yet we spend half our waking lives looking at screens! We don’t want to spend that time with zombie products—monotonous, vacant, and uncared for. We want products with soul. 💜
I go deep on this in my talk from @lennysan's Summit: piped.video/watch?v=GLvFTMtw…

We begrudgingly use an Alexa in our kitchen, mostly for adding to our shopping list. But when actually at the store, their app is *so bad* I always wish I could just use Apple Reminders instead. But Alexa has no API for this.
I finally figured out how to do that with Opus 5.5! Now I can add via Alexa and it shows up in Reminders. If I mark it as done or add something via Siri, it's synced back to Alexa. Harmony! ✨
Here's the little macOS tool I made that keeps them all in sync: github.com/ow/Alexa-apple-re…

This @designerfund video with @lil_dill and some of our amazing designers talking about how design at Stripe is totally changing with AI + prototyping. it's is great internal peek at how we're working differently now.
Featured in here is the prototyping tool I've been chipping away at, protodash, which gives designers + PMs the same superpowers that AI is giving to engineers.

Cloud in a Bottle looks like the ‘local Vercel’ I was hoping someone would make. With AI making it easier to make custom personal apps, an easier way to self-host at home was sorely missing cloudinabottle.org/blog/laun…
