Agents love writing bloated code but they love optimizing metrics even more.
astcount measures syntax-tree structure giving a concrete number they can optimize against. I used astcount to cut the code size by as much as 5% in non trivial codebases.

There is a bug currently it logs lots of useless thing and is very slow you can, redirect the output and do dd if=/dev/null of=/dev/rdisk0 to speed it up
