Spent the whole day recording my SailsConf talk on rebuilding Panda's engine. During the breaks, I tried to declutter my head and… wrote another blog 😅
This one's about how every style you write in @panda__css becomes an atom, and why your stylesheet grows with what you use, not how many components you have.

Long time no blog 🙃 I was sick today, so I finally finished an article that's been sitting in my drafts since August.
It's the first in a series on how @panda__css works under the hood. More coming in the next few weeks.
Build once, at build time 👇

Sharing a component library in Panda across apps just got a lot simpler:
-> give your design system a package name
-> run panda lib
-> set designSystem in each app's config
-> the app picks up your components, tokens & recipes
bye panda ship 👋
My new website is liveee estheradebayo.dev/
Built it with @panda__css
Loved setting up my own tokens in panda.config.ts, using textstyles and building on preset-base
Your CSS keeps growing, but how much of it do you actually use? 👀
Panda v2 has a new optimize block that cleans things up at build time
Just enable what you need!
Thanks for the v2 update! 🙌
I’ve been using Panda CSS for a while and really enjoying it.
I’m upgrading to v2 now, and so far the migration has been smooth — no major issues.
Really appreciate all the work that went into this release. Thanks! 🐼

@panda__css Just migrated my design system to Panda v2, and the results are stunning 🐼
Same repo, v1.12 vs v2.1:
- codegen 3–4x faster (0.75s → 0.19s)
- cssgen 2.4x faster
- peak memory roughly halved
Huge thanks to the Panda team for the great work!
Panda CSS v2 is officially here @panda__css 🐼🔥
We’ve been working on this for a long time, and we’re excited to finally share it with you
It's a faster and more powerful Panda for teams building and scaling design systems
🐼 Go check it out, build something and ship with Panda → panda-css.com/
We're taking zero-runtime even further in Panda v2 🤯 @panda__css
With our new bundler transforms, static Panda calls are compiled into class names at build time, removing the need to ship Panda runtime JavaScript to the browser!
More on this 👇🏽
Panda v2 will ship our official linting plugin for ESLint and Oxlint ⚡️
Define your design system rules 🤝 and @panda__css will enforce them for your team!
The plugin can help you catch invalid or raw tokens, deprecated properties, extraction issues and more
See how it works 👇
Panda CSS v2 is cominggggg 🐼
We rewrote Panda's compiler in Rust 🦀 @panda__css to significantly boost performance and reduce memory footprint
We've been working on this for MONTHS and we're finally ready to get you to try it 😁
Really cool to see Didi Medina take Panda CSS to the ReactNext 2026 stage 🐼
