Working on both sides of the ball, this young man shows he is an athlete all over the field. Defensively, he can hold an edge and approach the pass rush with a plan. The opening swim clears the blocker’s hands and keeps his chest clean, allowing him to work through the running back and finish the rush. He also dips inside to reduce his surface through interior traffic, avoiding clean contact and staying involved for the backside finish. At :47, watch how he manages the block against the run. His leverage and angle allow him to keep one arm free, giving him access to the ball carrier while still engaged. There is technical purpose behind how he handles contact, and he keeps working through the whistle. That movement ability carries over offensively, where he is used across the formation. On jet sweeps, he reaches the boundary and gets vertical quickly for a player with his frame. At :56, he extends for the football with strong hands and completes the sideline toe tap, showing body control through the catch. There is more to his game than these selected reps cover, but they give you a good look at how his movement ability, technical feel and competitive finish translate across different assignments.
