I have an idea to stop the freezer hacks - DON’T CONNECT FREEZERS TO THE INTERNET! Good God.
JUST IN: Supermarket freezers in Belgium and Sweden were switched into defrost overnight into 2nd November, the same method used on hundreds of French stores in October, per a Belgian refrigeration firm. France's cyber emergency team warned on 16th October that the campaign was probably still running, and that a factory reset alone would leave old controllers open to a repeat, per its alert. About 40 Delhaize stores, 15 Carrefour branches and about 5 Spar shops in Belgium saw fridge temperatures spike, per VRT and Colruyt Group. The same firm said it began around midnight local time, 10 AM AEDT, per HLN. ICA said a small number of its stores were hit, all connected outside its central network, per BBC. One freezer on Öland read 55°C, per SVT. Coop reported 6 stores in Gävleborg. The Pentagon is treating an August run of commissary freezer failures at 6 or more bases as a suspected hack, per 4 officials cited by Reuters. At Fort Huachuca in Arizona, every freezer went into defrost overnight, per the commissary. Nobody has claimed the attacks, and no government has named a culprit. The fix is cheap.. take the controllers off the open internet, patch the firmware and change the passwords.

Annoyed by the long lines voting in Alabama tomorrow? That's by design. You are a victim of voter suppression. Alabama is 1 of only 3 states with NO early voting. The people in power don't want max turnout, because if everyone votes, they lose.

Yeah no. Daytime kick and BYU is better. This will go down to at least 3 by kickoff if not 2.
No. 3 Utah opens up at a 5.5-point favorite over No. 7 BYU this weekend at Rice-Eccles Stadium

Isak, Barcola and Wirtz cost £364m between them and Gakpo was subject to an £85m bid in the summer. To not register a single shot on target what £449m worth of players at Anfield is criminal.
Liverpool had 0 shots on target against Arsenal 😳 That’s the first time in PL history Liverpool have failed to get a single shot on target at Anfield 🤯

Spends all that money in attack and can't even shoot towars goal
FT: Liverpool 0 Arsenal 1: Defeat for Iraola's side as Arsenal win at Anfield for the first time since 2012. Alisson's error proved so costly as Havertz made him pay. Sense of injustice given blatant shirt pull by Timber on Isak went unpunished, but Reds lacked attacking spark.

Nice going, everyone.
Alabama passed a law, 138 votes to nothing, that makes every phone user in the state prove their age before downloading a single app. A 45-year-old who wants a news app has to hand ID to Google first. Existing accounts get no pass either. Every one of them must be verified by October 2027. Teenagers will need a parent’s sign-off to install Wikipedia, Duolingo or a Bible app, and kids without a parent to ask get locked out completely. Apple, Google and Amazon’s lobby group has now sued to block it on First Amendment grounds. reclaimthenet.org/alabama-is…
