So many other things to remember and celebrate Sir Patrick Stewart for... but this has to be one of the best line readings in the history of The Simpsons

LOL. What a typically shitty and boring draw.
We’ll travel to Crystal Palace in the quarter-finals of the #CarabaoCup 🏆

Harry Kane is not the best player in the world. He’s the best goal scorer. Mbappe, Yamal and Kvaratskhelia are the best players.

Worked this out without a computer 40 years ago 😀
Someone had a computer play Monopoly 312 million times to find the best strategy. The winning bot won 43% of games. Its strategy: buy every property you land on, never hoard cash, and take out mortgages to get three houses as fast as possible. Pretty sure it works outside the board game too 👀

Random restaurant recommendation: Habbibi in Victoria Gate, Leeds. Went for brunch/lunch yesterday and loved the short ribs with poached eggs and the French Toast. Had the place to ourselves!

Sad news about Tom Skerritt. But why wasn’t Iceman prosecuted for causing the flat spin which killed Goose? That’s the question…

Whatever else is in the bin.
Ketchup isn’t an option, what are you putting on these eggs?

No, because it’s about buying the wrong things. What you actually need is a generator.
Is anyone I know on here doing the ‘prepping’ in case of imminent disaster?

From @TheAthletic: The worst owner in sports; the worst owner in the history of NY sports, Fat Jim Dolan, sent emails to Knicks employees promising them championship rings It was a lie; a test to see who would click on the link. All they got was a cyber class Dolan is scum

The proper journalists @SkySportsNews must be tearing their hair out. Let’s discuss current @ManUtd situation with chief correspondent Rob Dorsett, former (professional) manager Alan Pardew and…. a fan called…. Flex. 🤡

Still never going to use one.
Self-driving Waymo robot taxis started picking up and dropping off passengers at Harry Reid Airport today. They have been programmed to obey their human masters, and never ask for a tip.

All sounds very shocking but is he a mute? Why does he seemingly not stop this at any point?
The NFL and the Philadelphia Eagles almost killed Jalen Hurts for a Week 5 international showcase. The full details of what happened behind closed doors in London just surfaced, and the negligence is staggering. Before kickoff in London, Hurts was in a hospital bed until 4:00 AM undergoing emergency vascular testing. Medical staff instructed him not to sleep because sleep was considered an active health risk. Instead of shutting down their $255 million franchise quarterback, the team cleared him to play 60 minutes of brutal, high-impact collision football on zero sleep. Then, they loaded him onto a pressurized, 8-hour transatlantic flight back to Philadelphia. Every doctor on the planet knows that long-haul flights and cabin pressure are the exact triggers that cause lower-extremity blood clots to break free. The Eagles spent days assuring the public it was just a "minor, superficial calf clot". Now the truth comes out: the clot dislodged, shot through his bloodstream, and caused multiple pulmonary emboli in his lungs. Hurts is officially out for the season, placed on blood thinners where taking a single routine tackle could cause a fatal internal hemorrhage. He isn't just lucky to play football again, he is lucky to be alive. When the NFL preaches "player safety," remember this moment. They ran a human being into the ground for television ratings in the UK, almost lost him to a preventable medical catastrophe, and cratered their entire season in the process. Who inside that building signed off on letting him play and board that flight?
