20 • I write the thoughts people have and then delete. Brain, culture, and being a woman in public.

Women: “We don’t need men.” Military — 95% men Firefighters — 97% men Coal miners — 95% men Truck drivers — 90% men Construction workers — 92% men Oil rig workers — 96% men Surgeons — 82% men Engineers — 89% men "The world runs because of men." Okay, let's finish the list. Teachers — 76% women Nurses — 88% women Social workers — 83% women Child care workers — 94% women Elder care workers — 80%+ women Administrative & clerical staff — 72% women Medical & health services managers — majority women The care economy that raises children, educates society, cares for the sick, and looks after the elderly is overwhelmingly female. Still not done. Prison population — 96% men Sex offenders in prison — 98.5% men Sexual offense prosecutions — 98% men Domestic homicide perpetrators — 90% men Violent crime offenders — 85%+ men So if we're going to credit men for everything society builds, we should also acknowledge who commits most of the violence that society has to deal with. And while we're at it: Childbirths — 0% men. Every man who has ever existed got here because of a woman. Militarys exist largely because humans wage wars — and historically, wars have overwhelmingly been started and fought by men. Nobody said men are unnecessary. People said misogyny is unnecessary. There's a difference. Many of the industries used as examples of male dominance were fields women were historically barred from entering. Women were excluded from combat roles, denied access to engineering schools, shut out of trade unions, fired for pregnancy, and legally prevented from entering entire professions. You don't get extra credit for dominating spaces where others weren't allowed to compete. The reality is simple: Society isn't built by men alone. Society isn't built by women alone. It functions because both contribute but often in different ways, often in ways that go unnoticed.

Society loves to tell men that their protective instincts are toxic, right up until something goes wrong in the middle of the night. The urge to build, defend, and carry the heavy load isn’t an ancient flaw. It’s the reason cities exist, power grids run, and houses stay standing when the weather hits. We spent thousands of years building a world safe enough for people to claim they don't need us anymore. But when the power goes out or the door breaks down at 3am, nobody calls a gender studies professor. They call a man.

The worst dating advice of our generation was: "Match their energy." It sounds empowering on paper, but in practice, it’s just two adults playing an endless game of emotional chicken. Think about how it actually plays out: • They take 3 hours to text back? You take 4. • They show mild interest? You show cool detachment. • They act casual? You pretend you don't care at all. Within two weeks, both of you are running a cold war of mutual disinterest until the conversation inevitably evaporates. What high-value people actually do: Set the temperature instead of reflecting the room. If you like someone, say it clearly. If you want to see them again, make a concrete plan. If they don't reciprocate with equal clarity, walk away immediately. Clarity eliminates games instantly. Playing games just ensures you attract other players.

Dating today is wild. You’ll talk to someone for three weeks, learn their deepest childhood traumas, and then completely stop speaking because one of you used the wrong tone on a Tuesday.

A woman's 'I'm almost ready' and a man's 'I'm five minutes away' are the two greatest works of fiction in human history.

Being in a long term relationship, living together, saying yes ten minutes ago, or even being married doesn't mean you lose the right to change your mind. Consent isn't a single contract you sign once. It's continuous, and you can pull back whenever you want.

You can go to the club, let someone buy you a drink, dance on them all night, wear the shortest outfit you own, get completely smashed, and you STILL don't owe it to anyone to go home with them. Being drunk or just being in the room is never consent.

A woman with her own money, strong boundaries, and zero desire for external validation is entirely unmanageable. Build a life where you never have to depend on someone whose respect for you comes with conditions.

3 habits that protect female cognitive focus and gut health: - Hydrate with electrolytes before touching your first coffee. - Walk for ten minutes after meals to blunt glucose spikes. - Stop checking high-stress notifications the second your eyes open. Protect your energy first.

A woman can have sex, sleep with many men, explore her sexual fantasies, want a threesome, use drugs, drink, flirt, wear revealing clothes, or simply love sex, and still have the absolute right to say no to any person at any time. CONSENT IS CONSENT.
