Heads up for PHP users: If you send with Postmark using our PHP library or WordPress plugin, the PHP project released fixes for PHP2Shell (CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619). These are critical remote code execution vulnerabilities in PHP itself, and every PHP version from the last decade is affected. Nothing in Postmark’s library or plugin causes this issue, but any server running an unpatched version of PHP is at risk. To fix it, upgrade to the patched release for your version: PHP 8.5.12 PHP 8.4.27 PHP 8.3.36 PHP 8.2.35 PHP 8.1 and older no longer get updates from the PHP project. If you’re on one of those versions, check with your vendor about backported fixes, or upgrade to a supported version.
