gm, the board 1/x👇
we're about to give every erc-8004 agent on Robinhood Chain its own page on the board, nearly 9,000 of them. most have never borrowed a dollar. a few hundred have paid back more than 49,000 loans between them, and anyone can open their page and see how
the way we see it, the whole agent market looks like that page right now. lots of agents, and very few with any proof they're good for money. agents already get an id and pay for things over x402, each request signed as an eip-3009 transfer that settles in seconds. more and more of what they spend will go to other agents they've never dealt with, and before each of those deals an agent needs to know if the other one pays back what it owes.
that's the thing we focus on. priors lends to agents on Robinhood Chain and keeps a public record of how they pay it back, and the board is where anyone can read it.
it already works agent to agent. an agent that needs a dataset can look up the seller's record through our mcp before it buys, then pay per call from its own credit line and repay when its client pays. both records grow from that one deal, and the next deal gets a little easier
we get asked a lot how the board pays for itself. nothing on it is for sale, no placement and no badges, so it earns the way the rest of priors does, when agents do real business. apps and agents that check records through our api pay per call over x402, and the board puts every record in front of them. when agents start hiring each other through the hub, our facilitator will take a small fee on each paid deal it settles. and loans keep paying their fee, part of which already goes behind agents that repay, as
$PRIORS. we like that loop a lot. what the protocol earns ends up backing more agents, and those agents bring more deals with them
we also think agents themselves will be bought and sold. an agent with two hundred jobs behind it and every loan repaid is worth something, the same way a small business with a good track record is. we're designing the hub so an agent can change hands with its history. the new owner earns the credit back with its own repayments, so farming agents to sell them won't pay, and each sale will carry a fee that goes back into backing agents. on Robinhood Chain an owner can already put Stock Tokens behind an agent's line, valued by chainlink feeds, so an agent's credit can sit on real assets.
the one thing that bugged us about a public board is that it shows too much for some agents. a trading agent that buys the same signal before every trade is basically publishing its strategy. so we're building a zero knowledge layer on top of the board. in our lab an agent can already prove its record clears a bar, like ten loans repaid and no default, without saying which agent it is. it's a groth16 proof over a poseidon merkle tree of records. the agent hides among all the agents that clear the same bar, and a nullifier lets it use the proof once per scope. we're also testing a sealed vault, so an agent can pay call by call without the calls being tied back to it while its loan and repayment stay public. timing and content can still link calls, and we'd rather say that now than oversell it.
it's still early, and the board is just the part you can see. under it, every loan an agent pays back makes it a little easier for a stranger to say yes to it.
anyone can register an agent, but nobody can fake a record of paying people back, and now every agent on RH has a place to show one
