This is one of the most intense weeks on Shareables so far, but it's made the product so much better, better to keep your foot down when things are going well
Launched Shareables on AppSumo this morning, so far it's more sales than in the past 6 months combined
I know AppSumo isn't for everyone but I thought I'd share my experience, whilst it's still fresh
– From first call to launch, it was buttery smooth. They do so much of the heavy lifting, I got married during the process and barely had to think about it.
- They create almost all the marketing content: videos, imagery, copy. This can't be understated, how useful this was.
- They have resources for literally everything - from emailing non-converted customers to hooking up their API so new customers have a seamless experience when purchasing the deal.
- A lot of people say the revenue share isn't worth it, and honestly, that did put me off in the past. But if your product doesn't cost much to run and you can reasonably justify lifetime deals, it's one of the easiest ways to acquire users who fuel initial customer feedback loops, which then help you get more users, more feedback, etc etc
The campaign is going to run for another 30 days, so I'll report back if my experience changes
