if you take comms on vgen, i think its best to make an awareness post ahead of time (even if u havent experienced this). i think theyre targeting vgen artists and messaging clients based on what we post on our portfolio there! you might be the next target artist

Also I shouldn't have to say this, but if you're a real artist trying to sell comms, NEVER dm someone just to ask them to buy something from you. Nobody likes that and it won't get you sales. With the added layer that it's now common scammer behavior, it's just not worth it.

im sorry but everytime i saw this kind of post.. its always because vgen fee + paypal fee adding to much bigger cut but at the end people always ONLY blaming Vgen why? plus out of all comms site, there charge small fee.. Patreon take 10%. Fiver take 20%. Etsy charge 6.5$ for every item sold. Kofi take 5% but never saw someone mad at them as much as Vgen also all this data i got from just googling for 5 second, so its might not super accurate.. but you got my message? #rant
