I’m a doctor. This executive order is wrong. The President does not have the expertise to make these changes. Vaccines are overwhelmingly safe. Vaccines are effective. Vaccines DO NOT cause autism. Breaking up vaccines will mean children have to get more shots to get the same protection, not fewer shots. It will increase hesitancy and make children less safe. Finally, he’s run out of track to defend this monster. The entire world can now see that Trump launched this pointless, self-destructive war on Israel’s behalf without any real consideration of what victory would look like or how it might be achieved. Now, the Strait of Hormuz is closed, the grocery and gas prices are skyrocketing, the global economy is teetering on the brink of collapse, and countless innocents lie dead. Jones — who it should be noted is still no friend of American democracy, liberalism, or even basic decency — is right about Congress. Only they have the power to sign off on a new war under the Constitution and yet Republican politicians are so spineless and afraid of upsetting Trump’s base that they refuse to perform their most basic duties. “They want us in a total war so they can censor and take our freedoms, nationalize everything, and push us aside with AI — total liability, immunity, and protection,” said Jones. “This is a disaster.
