I don't know what it will look like, but some amount of computer use will be completely reshaped by the ability of ordinary users to produce custom software at will. We interviewed Curtis for @hellmoneypod about his latest endeavor, dropping next week.

Esotericists have long predicted that the Age of Aquarius would bring human telepathy. But things don't always manifest as expected. AI making everyone's digital history searchable is effectively telepathy. You can read someone's mind via the digital trail they've left behind.
No one likes to think about this, but sometime in the next 10 or so years, an event will happen wherein every single thing you've ever done digitally (search histories, content you've watched, photos you've taken, audio thats been clandestinely saved on your phone) will be public and searchable.

Villains are what make stories great. When you become the perfect villain of a story, you are contributing just as much to its greatness as the hero. There is no great story without a complex, relatable villain. Otherwise you're just watching a cartoon. Most people are too shallow to appreciate this because their immediate impulse is to hate the villain with a fiery passion. But often that hatred is so intense precisely because they recognize something of themselves in the villain. They have to insist that he's an irredeemable monster to protect their own sense of moral superiority. The villain is as essential to the story as the hero, and real media heads love them both equally.

The twerpy straight guy is the most universally despised male archetype because he combines masculine entitlement with feminine social aggression, without the cultural license of being a woman or a gay man. But this also makes them the greatest reality TV characters of all time. They're straight men who drive romantic plotlines while simultaneously engaging in the sinister social warfare of the female cast. They're boyfriend and mean girl at the same time. Spencer Pratt invented the genre in The Hills, Scott Disick and Jax Taylor perfected it on KUWTK and VPR, and Billy Evans has now brought it to prestige documentary filmmaking in You Can See Everything.

Paulโ€™s response to our episode about Drivechains, itโ€™s worth a listen! Yet another reminder that the most important discourse about Bitcoin happens on @hellmoneypod
Episode 7 - Trial in Absentia @hellmoneypod did a whole 90-min episode about Drivechain / ecash . Since they are basically the #1 Bitcoin podcast, I thought it would be great to go through what they get right and wrong. Topics: 5:00 - The Hard Problem of Sidechains 7:44 - Why the name "Drivechain"? 8:55 - Casey's Idea of How Withdrawals Work 16:20 - Features... AND fees! 18:15 - Keeping L1 as Bitcoin Core 19:00 - Launch Day Drivechains 20:00 - More Compliments 21:25 - Every drivechain critic. 22:00 - Fragmentation ...compared to what? 23:40 - Who's *required* to pay? The idea that profiting off of your own story is unethical is so obviously manipulative Hollywood studio bs it shocks me that Nathan Fielder chose to make this the gotcha of the entire last third of the movie. Donโ€™t profit off your story cuz that would be bad, yeah itโ€™s only ethical if weโ€™re the only ones that profit off of your story.

Elizabeth Holmes and her husband are soulmates. Part of his role in their connection is to shoulder some of her karmic debt. By becoming the villain in her story, he offers her a reprieve from the narrative the world has constructed around her.

โ€œThese AI hacks are going to come for everyone. They already areโ€ฆ It's just that Bitcoin is the ideal thing to target because it's open source and it's money.โ€ @realizingerin called it on TFTC three weeks ago. This week an AI-found PHP flaw knocked government websites offline.
