Marco Rubio will be our next United States President.
🚨 FLASHBACK 11 years ago, then Senator Marco Rubio stood on principle and voted AGAINST the disastrous Obama-Iran Nuclear Deal. He warned it would fund terror, empower the mullahs, and put America at risk. History proved him RIGHT. Watch this. America is blessed with leaders who have foresight like this 🇺🇸 Believe it. For the Republic! Thank you @marcorubio

Yeah we all remember that and I also remember not being stupid enough to think the government could fix it all for me. I remember having four roommates while I was a young Navy SEAL and saving money on my first deployment to Iraq to buy my first home. I remember when people didn’t believe that someone else should pay for some make-believe lifestyle we thought we deserved…because we believed we had to figure it out ourselves. I also remember when Republicans were honest enough to tell people the truth and fight for policy that would have long term benefits even if unpopular in the short term. If anyone thinks the lesson about “affordability” in this election is just becoming more populist and more liberal, then go join the Democrat party. They’ll be happy to have you, bribing voters with promises of free crap. Or…do a better job making the economic case for what you know is right. I’m still team Trump. Why? Because his policies are grounded in the long term, not the convenient short term. GOOD. Double down on the agenda. Who cares if we lost the midterms? Nothing changes. We already had a deadlocked Congress anyway. And how about you supposed “conservative commentators” tell the truth about issues like affordability? Republicans made sure the average family of 4 didn’t see a $10,000 increase in taxes last year. *Money that Democrats voted to take from you.* Republicans push for permitting reform and deregulation. Supply side policies that decrease inflation long term. Tariffs suck in the short term but in the long term will bring manufacturing here. Biden and his Democrats caused 9% inflation. The high prices you see now? Guess what, 76% of that higher price is from the Biden years. The rest is gas prices which admittedly is caused by the actions in Iran. GOOD. All I have to pay is 30% higher gas and I get to make sure Iran can’t point a nuke at me?? GOOD. By the way, lots of other consumer goods are cheaper. Prescription drugs are 4.5% LOWER. The biggest cost increases are housing and healthcare. Why? Because Obamacare wrecked the healthcare market and blue states make it impossible to permit new home building. But who cares about the facts, right? Good job, Texas! Say goodbye to your low cost of living and pro-business reputation. And thank the braindead right wing populists that threw their votes away in protest (also thank Paxton for running the worst campaign ever….). Republicans need to stop running away from good policy and principles just because it MIGHT win an election. Thats the Democrat way. Fuck that. Stick to principle. And LEARN HOW TO ACTUALLY EXPLAIN GOOD POLICY TO VOTERS. The moronic consultant class told the GOP to spend hundreds of millions of dollars on transgender ads instead of the economy. Incredibly stupid. Let’s learn some lessons, but for God’s sake learn the RIGHT lessons.
I remember making 40k with a wife and two babies and having nothing left at the end of the month after rent and groceries, and I think about it still every day. If you’re struggling to make ends meet and keep your family fed with a roof over their heads, that struggle is simply the most pressing and urgent matter in your life and nothing else really comes close. This is something that many Republican politicians and conservative “thought leaders” still do not understand and maybe never will.

Went to Books a Million tonight and discovered a sticker, a lonely sticker all by itself at the Masters of the Universe display. It was slightly peeking out from under a decorative piece. It was like it was meant to be. No other stickers around, just the one laying by itself. I picked it up and showed my wife and said, yes, this is me, most definitely me. I immediately bought it. Skeletor is my inner aura.

Imagine a return to the 1990s. Not the hair or the fashion (though some of us still miss it). The economy. The decade when America was actually booming: • Real GDP growth averaging over 3% a year, with stretches above 4%. • Unemployment falling from the 7% range down to under 4% by the end of the decade. • The stock market delivering ~18% annualized returns — one of the best decades ever. • Inflation quiet and stable around 3%. • The federal budget going from big deficits to actual surpluses. • A genuine tech and internet boom creating new industries and opportunity instead of just consolidating old ones. It wasn’t perfect. No decade is. But for a huge number of people, it felt like things were moving in the right direction. Jobs were plentiful. Wages for many were rising in real terms. You could buy a house without feeling like you were entering a blood sport. The national mood was more optimistic than exhausted. We had a president (Clinton) and, after 1994, a Congress controlled by the other party. Divided government. Constant fighting. And somehow the economy still delivered the longest peacetime expansion on record. Would you take that trade again? A lot of people quietly would. Not because of nostalgia for dial-up or Blockbuster. Because the basic ingredients of a strong, broad-based economy — growth, opportunity, low unemployment, and fiscal discipline — actually showed up for a while. We know it’s possible. We lived it

For the indefinite future, the ONLY focus should be 100% on Americans: 1. End the wars, and all wars. US needs to stop being the global babysitter. 2. Keep the border closed, we are not the global daycare center for everyone. 3. Deregulation across the board for oil and gas drilling, let the oil and gas industry have a boom! 4. Get gas under $2 a gallon, this will create a domino effect for all goods and services costs to go down astronomically. 5. Automobile manufacturers need to build here in the US, lower the cost overall for automobiles, $40K plus trucks and suvs should not exist, bring automobiles back into the $20K range. 6. Make dining out for families not cost $100 for hamburgers and fries 7. Lower the cost of healthcare benefits 8. New families should be able to buy a starter home without going into extreme debt. 9. Allow people to actually be able to save money and create a savings without having to live paycheck to paycheck. 10. All focus should be on Americans, and Americans only. Fix our country and the economy so we can all live our lives as free and fruitful as possible. Im sure there's a lot more, but that's on top of my mind. The overwhelming inflation cannot be the normal anymore. I dont care whether you blue or red, get the work done that you were elected to do.
One of the things the data analysts on our side obsessed over was "composition"—whether the electorate looked close enough to 2024 for Republicans to win. And despite polls that showed a Democrat blowout, the data kept on telling us the same story: in some states turnout was merely OK, in other states it was downright amazing, and in no state was it catastrophic. There was a genuine sense of optimism on our team: our people were showing up. So, I asked the smartest data guy I know, does that mean we're going to shock the world? "No," he told me. "We might do better than the polls suggest. But the data is telling us that a lot of Trump/Vance 2024 voters are pissed and planning to vote for the other guys. Our voters are turning out, but they may not vote for us." Well, that looks prophetic now. Our voters did show up. In Florida, for example, the electorate was 9 points more Republican than Democrat, just a couple points worse than 2024. Undoubtedly there were places we could have done better on turnout. But the main problem is not turnout. The main problem is that many people who voted for Trump/Vance in 2024 voted for Democrats in 2026. There will be a lot of infighting and arguing over what happened and why that is. One of the pollsters I really respect told me that our economic messaging wasn’t sharp enough down the stretch. I’m sure that’s true. But the real reason we lost is obvious to almost everyone. Another pollster—one of the smartest people I know in politics, told me yesterday we’d lose the generic ballot by 13 points. I felt negative going into Tuesday, but even I was shocked by this. In his polling, he saw that a lot of Trump 2024 voters were angry and planning to vote for Democrats. He asked those voters who had abandoned us what would cause them to come back on our team. The top four answers, accounting for nearly all of the responses were: 1) End the war 2) Focus on cost of living/inflation 3) Put America First 4) Change our relationship to Israel Our voters showed up. And the above four reasons are why many of them voted for Democrats. This is according to a pollster who nailed the results. While many spent Monday attacking Rachel Campos Duffy for calling for a diplomatic resolution to the conflict, it turns out her political advice was sound. (She’s also a great person.) In the next few months, there's going to be a lot of gaslighting. Expect to hear any number of establishment politicians say the solution to our woes is amnesty. I'm open to the idea that we should change enforcement—by focusing more on businesses that hire illegal labor, for instance. But anyone pushing amnesty is lying to you. The reason we lost is the war. The president himself said so last night. If you'd like to argue it was worth it, that losing the Senate for the next 6 years was worth it, then do so. Argue it was a worthwhile cost to pay. Agree or disagree, that's at least honest. But everyone knows why we lost. And any honest conversation about where we go from here must start there. I remain hopeful about our country. To the people who are pissed off and want to say, “I told you so”: you’re right, you did tell us so. Take that energy into electing Republicans who share your worldview. To the people who are just pissed at the results, you should be. Let’s take that anger and get back to the work of saving our country.

The US has no idea the world of hurt that it has ushered. It is truly soul-crushing to see some of the outcomes. My reaction is not based on partisan politics but rather a deep love and reverence for the US. Regrettably, American Exceptionalism is increasingly disappearing. I will continue fighting in the battle of ideas but I fear that this might be a fatal inflection point. May the America of the Founding Fathers eventually prevail.

You, the American worker, the American taxpayer, you're the only one that actually matters. The one who is a net contributor in this country who wants at least as good of a country or better for your children. You are the only person of consequence on a global level. Unfortunately, your vote is taken for granted the most.

It always blows my mind how every major urban city in our country votes democrat...it's as if it's by design, which I believe it is. You look at the wide open spaces of Texas, they're conservative, free, and private. Major urban centers with people packed like sardines, they're liberal...I'll never understand it.

If you voted blue in Texas, you voted for more regulation and higher costs on the industry that powers Texas, you essentially voted against the state’s economy. Texas leads the nation in oil and gas production. That industry generates tens of billions in state and local taxes and royalties and supports hundreds of thousands of jobs (plus many more indirectly). Federal policies that restrict leasing, raise compliance costs, or limit production hit Texas harder than most places. Look at the pump. Under Obama the national average was about $2.97. Under Trump’s first term it averaged about $2.48, including pandemic lows near $1.77. Under Biden it averaged about $3.46 and hit a record high over $5 in 2022. Global factors always matter, wars, pandemics, OPEC, and demand swings drive most of the movement, but energy policy still affects U.S. supply, refining, and long-term investment. Texas voters have a direct stake in keeping production strong and costs in check. More government control and heavier regulation on oil and gas does not make energy cheaper or the Texas economy stronger. It does the opposite.
