I'm genuinely jealous of those overseas who get to use personal AI agents with fewer restrictions.
Here in China, so much of our lives is locked inside closed apps. From WeChat to shopping and maps, even getting your own data out is difficult. We can find workarounds, but an assistant that connects all those pieces and truly knows you still feels a long way off.
Then I remembered the basic assistant services offered through WeChat service accounts ten years ago. That was a different era, though.
We keep chasing more powerful models and better tools. But finding your footing in this new era still comes down to your own ideas, creativity, and ability to make things happen.
AI is moving so fast. It feels like you either sit it out or keep pushing forward. I'm almost afraid to imagine what comes next.
