Wild start here in Youngstown. Through half a quarter, we’ve seen:
- Long Beau Brungard touchdown pass
- Controversial fumble retained by North Dakota
- Jerry Kaminski had his helmet ripped off and launched into orbit
- Dropped wide-open TD followed up by wide open throwback TD
- Blocked XP after a false start
- Huge fumble caused by a helmet to the ball

The tradition continues. My most valued day of the year — spending a fall Saturday with my dad at a different college football game.
Previous stops include Navy (25), Indiana (24), Notre Dame (23), Wisconsin (22), Tennessee (21), and Virginia Tech (21). Trying something different this year with Youngstown State.
Another core memory goes in the bank

Removing Dilfer (I don’t think Rivers will install that toxic environment), Todd Dodge comes to mind.
One of the most accomplished coaches in America. Went 6-37 at North Texas.

Defensive tackle is definitely not a premium position.
Almost all the best guys are drafted in the top 40, Final Four teams often feature elite ones, and they make more than all but 3 other positions.
But other than that, not premium.
