BYU basketball is officially back tomorrow! BYU-Ohio State is one of the best opening day matchups featuring two of the best guards in college basketball and a 5-star freshman on both sides.
I give my preview and prediction for the game. vanquishthefoe.com/byu-baske…

Notre Dame-Villanova are starting off the college basketball season right now with a game in Rome.
Give me a BYU-Notre Dame/Villanova series at the Vatican-Temple Square (Conference Center)

The third down play you tell everyone to hold and grab jerseys. If ASU accepts its third down and you win. Decline and its fourth down and clock will run out

Bear is really good when he has a complementary run game. BYU not having P4 quality backs behind LJ has the offense in mud

Talented guard/wing who BYU has been on for awhile now. Had good showings this summer as a shot creator off the bounce
NEWS: 17-year-old Serbian wing Matija Lukić, one of the top international prospects in the class of 2027, is taking seven official visits in eight days starting Sunday, a source tells DraftExpress:
Boston College
BYU
Duke
N.C. State
UNC
UConn
Utah
Washington is also involved.

At some point a man can only take so many L’s to his ex
There was some talk of 5-star wing AJ Williams making his way to Kentucky for an official visit this weekend after canceling his trip to Arkansas
That will not happen, KSR has learned. Future visit TBD, but he won't be in Lexington for Halloween.

Same group representing Indiana players is representing Jaxon Kohler and California players. They've figured out how to win every step in court vs NCAA. Very promising for Jaxon Kohler remaining eligible for entire season.
Good news for all the atheltes in the Indiana eligibility case, which includes IU defensive linemen Stephen Daley and Kellan Wyatt and Miami basketball’s Malik Reneau. Indiana Court of Appeals has denied the NCAA’s request to expedite, which means they are expected to be eligible for the rest of the year.

Grateful we're in an era of BYU sports of being most excited in late October about the play on the field and not what costume our AD is wearing on Halloween

Notable news. Arkansas was a threat I was watching.
Source: AJ Williams, the No. 5 overall prospect in the class of 2027, will no longer visit Arkansas this weekend.

Ohio State will be a good first test for BYU next Monday. Coin flip game between two teams who, on paper, are even. BYU currently favored by 1.5.
Jake Diebler tells me that this is the deepest team that he's had thus far at Ohio State and the Buckeyes could start the season with a 10-man rotation.
Diebler also said 6-9 F Lee Aaliya is a name to monitor in Columbus.

Not only is this kid a freak athletic and physical talent, his persona and IQ is mature beyond his years. 5 star teammate.
"That man right there, that's a grown man."
@bkbranch3 is BLESSED by Jaxon Kohler on the BYU roster

BYU and Utah will kickoff at 10am MT. Best case scenario for BYU, imo. Avoid a night game in RES. vanquishthefoe.com/byu-footb…

Treyson is using Gospel principles/stories to help him during tough times at work. Very common practice for people of faith.
He’s not a fan. It’s a different lens.
The disciples watched Jesus die on Friday, not knowing what Sunday would bring.
What looked like the end was only the beginning.
A reminder that some of life’s greatest blessings come after its darkest moments.
Don’t lose faith in the middle of the story.

Bruce Branch has impressed me so much in the 3 preseason games. His playmaking ability could give this offseason an extra gear. Yesterday he had 2 alley oops to Khadim Mboup in PNRs.
-Long Beach State: 20 points
-Nebraska: 15 points, 5 assists
-UNLV: 14 points, 8 assists
If that’s the Bruce branch III we get all year that I saw in the UNLV scrimmage, then he’s not falling past 2 in the 2027 NBA Draft.
