Today our family is mourning the loss of Linda Ruder, both my mother-in-law and the special woman @SarahDInKC and I have honored with charity softball events since 2016. She was given 6-12 months in June 2015 and battled 5 years. All 139 of us that have played are hurting today!

To say the football gods have smiled on the Buffalo Bills this year would be an understatement

A reminder that despite these things happening all the time, opposing kickers have made 38 consecutive field goals against the Chiefs, spanning more than a year

Ringing endorsement for his boob of a special teams coordinator that this organization can never be rid of
#Chiefs HC Andy Reid, defending K Harrison Butker, said his 54-yard FG went so wide right because, had he kicked it straight, it would have been blocked. “I see why he went right. … He just went a little too wide. They overloaded that side with all their bigs.”

It is hilarious to see Broncos fans spew BS about the Chiefs and the refs when they are the team that has had not one but two different games where a game-losing play happened (Rams, Chiefs) and THEN the officials have yeeted flags to bail them out. They should be 4-4!

That's... not true?

I thought he said “I never said it was punishment related.” Didn’t necessarily take that as “it wasn’t punishment related.” Is there a difference? You never know with this weird team.
Andy Reid also said the decision to not play Kingsley Suamataia on offense was not punishment related.

Nix is a cool dude. Still feel bad that he got robbed of being able to play for an AFC championship. Hate seeing his team win, but he's a gamer.
Bo Nix to Patrick Mahomes postgame: "I was scared to death when you got the ball back."

Worthy played almost 2x the snaps of any other WR. I know Rice was limited because hamstring return but that’s just absurd. Worthy should be getting the 4th most reps among wideouts after they trade for someone this week.
mahomes hoping worthy wins his route (you guessed right he didn’t!!!) can i please get a wr trade by noon

16-3 since the start of last year. That pendulum will swing back at some point. It always does!
Broncos are now 5-0 in games decided by 7 points or fewer. That's tied for the best record in one-score games through Week 8 this century.

First time seeing this angle. If Caliendo blocks his guy, Mahomes hits Kelce and the Chiefs win. Brutal.
Would Mahomes have hit Kelce here? Broncos vs Chiefs a CLASSIC!

I wonder what the list of names that would be in line to be the Chiefs’ next coach would look like. Would guys like Kevin O’Connell leave their current situation for the opportunity to coach Patrick Mahomes?
Today was the 246th game that Andy Reid has coached for the Chiefs. You’ll have some work ahead of you if you choose to search for one that he managed any worse. I’m NOT saying it’s time for a change. But in one of Clark Hunt’s desk drawers, there needs to be a piece of paper with a list of names.

The coach who is handing down the DISCIPLINE card is the same guy who ok’d signing JUSTIN TUCKER less than a week ago, huh?

truly unbelievable how his coach called for this, in the rain, when it was still going to be a 1-score game either way
Harrison Butker goes wide right! @Broncos take over with good field position on CBS & Paramount+

Worthy ran out of bounds AGAIN as Mahomes is running for his life. The worst instincts of anyone on the field. Stop playing him so much!

Andy is a great coach but he's had the same warts for his entire career, and his generational QB has covered so many of them. When you take away his LT and his LG and his WR2 and give him a defense with zero pass rush, he can't cover all of 'em every time
Has there ever been a more overrated coach in sports history than one Andy Reid

They won't cut him but they'll probably IR him and turn to a serial pervert, who is equally washed, to shank 50 yard field goals in the clutch in butker's place
#Chiefs K Harrison Butker is on a fully guaranteed $5.8M salary this season, but none of the 2-years, $11.7M remaining thereafter is protected.

feels like not enough people are talking about how the 2nd down playcall was corndog and xavier worthy, supposedly their fastest weapon, couldn't get any separation whatsoever and his QB got decked as a result. why on earth is Xavier Worthy drawing a target in that spot?
2nd and Goal at the 1. It was right there.

well you benched him and then the backup left guard's man got the game-sealing sack on 4th and goal at the 1, so maybe don't get pissy when people ask you about it?
Andy Reid on Kingsley Suamataia: “It’s just between Kingsley and I.”

Xavier Worthy has 27 catches on 41 targets for 230 yards. He has played in every game as either WR1 or WR2. There are 80+ NFL players that have more receiving yards. Patrick Mahomes is averaging 5.6 yards on Worthy targets. He's averaging 8.2 yards on passes to everyone else.

After the Chiefs trade for Josh Downs, Xavier Worthy should be WR4 at best on the Chiefs depth chart behind Rice, Downs, and Allen. You can't convince me Jalen Royals wouldn't be better with more targets either. Stop playing Worthy premium reps. He's horrible.
