SURPRISE IM A BULLDOG!❤️💛
#commited
I’m truly so beyond grateful to announce that I have verbally committed to continue my academic and athletic career at Ferris State University.
To begin I would love to give praise to the man above, Jesus Christ, for giving me the passion and ability to not only play but also take my skills to the next level. I stand here today with a healthy and able body because of him and I will continue to grow stronger and active to ensure I never take his gift for granted.
Next, I would like to thank my wonderful parents. The countless money, hours and gas these people have poured into me over the past years is more than I could ever fathom. They have showed up for me time and time again and have never once made me believe I’m incapable. They have stuck with me when I wanted to quit and they have praised me when I felt on top of the game but the real support and love they have shown me is something I just can’t put into words. They have been on this journey with me the entire time and I can’t imagine how difficult it would’ve been without the constant support from them.
I’d now like to thank my older sister Madi for constantly being my rock, my constant and my why. You have shown up for me in way that other people didn’t think was possible. Pregame texts when I’m in a different state 3 hours ahead, watching my games on gamechanger on the way to one of your own, and leaving notes for me when you knew I struggled the day before. I have always looked up to you and admired you. Before I was ever an athlete I was your little sister trying to follow in every single one of your footsteps. I wish to become half of the person you are one day. Your work ethic and pride is something no one else in this world has. You are my best friend and the reason I have ever had the confidence to play at this level.
I’d finally like to thank Coach Schumann, Coach Sharon, Coach Kenton and the rest of Ferris State for trusting me, believing in me, and giving me this wonderful opportunity to play for and represent the dogs. 🐾
