Todays Update: PANIC ISOLATION AND IDEMPOTENCY โ ๏ธ
Tomorrow: full JOB_WORKER build. The concurrency skeleton for my marquee projectโa DOUBLE-ENTRY LEDGER where every cent moved carries full proof.

๐ฏ Goโs concurrency model vs Java virtual threads: a practical comparison for developers deciding how to build scalable, concurrent services. #GoLang#Java#Concurrency
Ever seen the same line of JS code race in two timelines?
Thatโs a race condition whichever branch wins writes reality. Master the event loop, lock down the race, and keep your apps predictable.
#JavaScript#Concurrency#DevTools
โก Goroutines and virtual threads both make high-concurrency applications easier to build, but they arrive at the problem from very different directions. #Concurrency
JRuby is fully parallel on the JVM, which exposes thread-unsafe Ruby code. The fix was years of educating the Ruby community about thread-safe programming. #JRuby#Concurrency#Ruby
#Python vs. #Rust:
#Concurrency
py: Limited by the GIL ("Global" Interpreter Lock).
rs: [Fearless] concurrency (races caught at compile-time).
#LearningCurve
py: Very low.
rs: *High* (understanding of strict memory concepts).
OxCaml is having a moment.
Join Carine Morel from Tarides for a hands-on workshop on making concurrent OCaml safer by construction: use its mode system to rule out unsafe sharing at compile time.

6. Race Condition
When multiple threads modify shared data simultaneously, you can get unexpected results.
This is called a race condition and is one of the first problems you need to understand in concurrency.
#Java#Multithreading#Concurrency#SystemDesign
4. join()
join() makes one thread wait until another thread finishes.
It's useful when the main thread depends on the result of a worker thread.
#Java#Multithreading#Concurrency#Backend
3. Thread.sleep()
Thread.sleep() pauses the currently running thread for a specified time.
It's useful for simulations, retries, and demonstrationsโbut don't use it as a synchronization mechanism.
#Java#Multithreading#Concurrency#JavaTips
๐ก Java: Donโt use Thread.sleep() to wait for work; use sync or a scheduler.
โIt's a guess: execution may be restored too early or too late
โ Use wait()/notify() or CountDownLatch for coordination
โ For repeating tasks, use ScheduledExecutorService
#Java#Concurrency
Jst self evaluated myself and found out tht I still lack a good knowledge about concurrency, how goroutines are scheduled, closures ๐ญ, how unbuffered nd buffered channel behaves.
#golang#concurrency
Working on some Go today, learning Goroutines has been quite fun.
Nice to see that I get access to better concurrency now given previously I had to do more work with the threading module when using Python
