St. Frances senior Carter Fisk is The Baltimore Sun All-Metro boys basketball Player of the Year. Fisk took an impressive and improbable path to an epic season, going from junior varsity to varsity bench player last year to the area’s finest player. In leading the No. 1 Panthers (36-7) to Baltimore Catholic League regular-season and tournament championships, in addition to the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference title game, the 6-foot-3 combo guard averaged 17.1 points, 3.1 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.8 steals per game in his breakthrough season. 2026 @sfa_boysball PG Anthony Smith has committed to Morgan State. The senior transfer took home @bclbasketball Defensive Player of the Year honors & was named All-League honorable mention for his steady production for the No. 1 ranked program in the league.
