I’ve always wondered why people expect professionals to give away their knowledge for free but have no problem when people with less knowledge can change an arm and a leg for theirs. 🤷🏼♂️
Let’s be honest, the Grifter is a dumbass snake oil salesman but Wash would do a defensive clinic for free 🙂 Charging for his knowledge was probably someone else’s idea

Here’s probably the biggest myth about pro athletes… That we’re all selfish..
After being in the corporate world for a minute…. Pro athletes/coaches/scouts/front office/owners are without a doubt THE MOST unselfish group of people I’ve ever met.
People can go ahead and disagree….but if you’ve been there, and now you’re in “the real world”.. ya know. 🤷🏻♂️.

I sat for a game with an old Cleveland Indians scout. It was a rain delay or he was bored he talked to me. Anyhow, All he did was watch if the guy had swing and miss. Or if the hitter turned on weak pitches and went the other way with the hard ones. No time piece or radar gun.

We played in a time when people used their eyes and ears to identify if a guy could hit.
We weren’t surrounded by a bunch of IPad toting #nerds who rely on DATA to tell them what they’re looking at!
No one was measuring Bat Speed back then.
I guess you didn’t know that either huh?
Again you would probably think in a conversation about bat speed, your points would be to address bat speed and not batting average
