PAE Fires selected Singularity as one of 4 finalists for the US Army's IFPC Inc 2 interceptor XTech competition. Singularity will have the opportunity to fly against other entrants in a 2027 demonstration.     We are motivated to bring low-cost air defense systems to the US Army at scale. Peter comes from AE Industrial Partners, a key Singularity investor, at a moment of tremendous momentum and opportunity. He is a proven aerospace and defense leader with deep experience scaling innovative hardware companies. Peter started his career at Orbital working on the GQM-163A (a ramjet powered Navy missile target), he moved into jet engine engineering and manufacturing at GE before transitioning to business development and M&A. From there, he helped stand up AE Ventures and has since worked closely with dozens of portfolio companies across aerospace and defense, including leading Firefly Aerospace as its CEO leading up to the first orbital launch and prior to the IPO. Peter's been an excited and helpful partner to Singularity since the first dollar of AE investment, and we’re thrilled to have him join our team to grow our execution engine as we capture government contracts and save lives.
