I've just updated my GitHub #Sponsors profile! Now, supporters get access to a monthly newsletter with insights on my latest work, project updates, and thoughts on OpenBSD development. Check it out and join the journey. #OpenBSD#OpenSourcegithub.com/sponsors/sizeofvo…
The upcoming #OpenBSD#Qt update to 6.12 will come with VA-API support enabled in QtMultimedia. QtMultimedia’s FFmpeg backend can now offload video decoding to the GPU via VA-API (Intel media driver / Mesa on AMD).
All in all, it was a nice #OSSummit. As for Ai, I’d say the LF is simply seeing just how far we can take it. There was no sign of any critical voices.
Perhaps in the subtext!?
Does copyright in OSS licence still hold any value?
Who is the copyright holder? LLM or the prompt auth.

Hey #FreeBSD#NetBSD folks,
which mailing lists should one subscribe for technical development, discussions and diffs (such as tech@, ports@ for #OpenBSD)?
Right, that was a surprise and completely unexpected. I wanted to try out how #relayd(8) behaved on #FreeBSD. Now it turns out that #FreeBSD does not support my Wi-Fi device. That was a short journey. Bye!
I have a few tasks in my #relayd and #httpd backlog. However, I’d be interested to know what you think is missing or what isn’t working properly? Please only reply if you’ve used it or are currently using it. If you’ve used it before, why not?
Just committed #ECDSA support in #relayd. The CA privsep engine now handles EC keys too. Big thanks to op@ for migrating the engine + signing code from smtpd.
Three days fighting Rust in CMake so KDE Plasma 6.7 can land in OpenBSD ports, then back to httpd & relayd. My g2k26 hackathon writeup: rsadowski.de/posts/2026/g2k2…
