Poetry proves again and again that any single overall theory of anything doesn't work. Poetry is always the cat concert under the window of the room in which the official version of reality is being written.

"yesterday is
nothing now, it is too far away,
your tongue is wrapped
around the ruined words,
you can taste the plastic
tang, the newness in the air"

I am hemorrhaging money running Stanchion right now. If anyone would like a phenomenal book or magazine issue (or a handful of them) please consider buying something. I've seriously published some remarkable work.
POEM 378: "Twa Corbies" by Kyla Houbolt
"Two crows diverged
whose flights were tracked
in a yellow wood
by crow the third
who watched the horse
that lay quite still."
