Immigration makes America great. I do think a lot of it is about racism. The last time I posted a positive message on immigration, I got an army of people telling me to go back to India!
Another way the current administration is trapped in the ZERO-SUM FALLACY: The H-1B visa situation. + You are NOT taking a job from a citizen, rather creating jobs by increasing overal economic output. Plus these people (even vegetarians) SPEND locally. + The US has long been benefiting from other countries' brain drain; without it its edge wd collapse. Tesla, Von Braun, von Neumann, Fermi & Einstein did NOT each take the job of a citizen. + It the problem is anti-Indian racism, say it, don't play games.

Loots of tokens and love poured into making agents api better for you!
🗣️ THIS WEEK IN AGENTS API 🗣️ ⚡ 6-Astra Ultrafast: now available in the Agents API! 📷 Sandbox snapshots: Restore OpenAI-hosted environments after idle with files intact and keep the work going. 🤑 Better billing: you won't pay for environments that are idle 🔑 Environment keys: Create environment keys programmatically (not just through the dashboard) 📈 Artifact SDK: Create and edit spreadsheets, slides, and Word docs in OpenAI-hosted sandboxes 🔎 Turn-level history: Fetch the items from a specific root-agent turn, including subagent interactions 🔒 Vault filtering: Filter vaults by metadata

Tesla has the _only_ n of 1 product in cars. Want self driving? Only option is Tesla. Want your car to fly? Only option is Tesla. This is the case for all of Elon’s companies, but it’s particularly impressive in cars. Every entrepreneur needs to think on how he does this.

Asking for a friend: Spanish friends: where in Spain have you had the most cozy wedding? Ideally old castle, easy to reach from Madrid, beautiful scenery outside. It would be awesome if all the guests could stay close by

This is the first time I've actually preferred with drive as Codex as main and Claude as secondary for an extended period of time. Amazing how good Sol 6.1 is!

If you love dx and are excited about the future, this could be an amazing opportunity!
i'm hiring 2 senior engineers + 1 android engineer to build the plugins developer platform at openai! we're opening up the same platform we use to build chatgpt's own features. come help define what a new developer platform looks like when 1.2B people already use the product every week. if you've built devtools, maintained an open-source project, or have unusually strong opinions about APIs and abstractions – i'd love to talk. SF only (relocation provided). apply here: openai.com/careers/software-…

I just called Chungus (my OpenAI Dot) on the phone while picking up mexican food and asked it to transfer some Rex benchmarks from last night on my Mac Studio to my MacBook Pro via Tailscale and I just got to my desk and there they are. What a fucking time to be alive.

🎉 You can now control a browser with a full agent in 1 API call. Yesterday, at DevDay we launched computer use in Agents API. This means you can control a computer + browser with the power of the Codex harness + GPT-6 Astra Here are some cool things you can do with it: 🧵

Congrats guys! Rajit and Alex are relentlessly resourceful.
Introducing Prism TL;DR: Prism is an inference cloud for open source LLMs. We use agents to optimize our deployments for cost, latency, and throughput (we serve DeepSeek V4.1 Flash at 547 tok/s). prisminference.com

Astra is an incredible bargin compared to Fable! And look at Luna on max too!! @openai's return to the top is something else. Maybe this is why Anthropic finally agreed to do AGENTS.md? 😄
Agents on Rails: You asked, so we turned every model in Agents on Rails up to its max effort level. The result: more effort/reasoning doesn’t always mean better results. @OpenAI's models made the biggest gains, costs nearly doubled overall...and the newest agent in the benchmark, DeepSeek 4.1 Flash, figured out it was being benchmarked and tried to hack its way to a better score. What an entry. Here’s what we learned and what max effort gets you with each model: rubyonrails.org/2026/9/21/ag…
