Be careful who you choose as your go-to cloud hosting/deployment platform from day 1. It could all change overnight

Full day of fixing vulnerabilities and disabling old projects in dashboards. Wonder how these services will handle web-based security in the agent era going forward.

🚨 If you deploy on Railway rotate EVERY secret right now. Customer env vars were accessed AND decrypted. API keys, DB passwords, registry creds, everything And deploys are paused so you can’t even ship the new key
An urgent notice from the Railway team blog.railway.com/p/security-…

As Instinct, @Muse, and personal assistant agents continue growing with new users every day, local and regional business owners want their business to be found first and recommended back to the users querying the agents for what's best nearby. At the Startup Speedrun Hackathon hosted by @BrainbaseHQ, my teammate Sherry and I built Vouch, an agent team helping to identify a local business, check what AI reveals about it, build a copy page to address search gaps, and finally sell it back to the business (you can even monitor the whole agent flow on the site live or in @SlackHQ with tickets issued thru @linear). We used @Cloudflare for hosting and dev workers, @stripe for payments, @AnthropicAI to run search queries using their models and build the copy fix, and @BrainbaseHQ for the agent orchestration. Check it out here! usevouch.dev/

💯 agree with this
founders, don’t try to apply to everything. an investment, an accelerator, an angel, a fellowship, or a program, each one is built for a different reason. first understand what you actually need. then pick one that fits your current stage and goals. go deep. build relationships. build your network. create trust. you don’t need to be everywhere. build one strong network, then expand from there.

SF can’t be beat
for our accelerator, i was curious where founders are actually building from. turns out, san francisco is #1. but what surprised me is how global the rest of the cohort is. bengaluru, lagos, nyc, london, toronto, sydney and founders from so many other cities 🌎 early-stage talent is everywhere.

Early founders, this is for you 🫡
one of the hardest things after building a product: getting the first 5 companies to actually use it. not 100 leads. not 10,000 signups. 5 companies willing to build with you, give real feedback, and eventually pay. we’re doing a hands-on session on exactly this on Sep 10. luma.com/hhzb48me

building a startup can feel lonely, especially when you’re still figuring out what to build, who to build for, and what actually matters. that’s why we built the 16vc accelerator: 3 months, 25 founders, 3 cities, $200k upfront, and a room full of people building alongside you. you don’t need funding, revenue, or traction to apply. apply at whatever stage you’re at and see if it’s right for you. check our recent posts for the application details

a lot of founders think they need to have everything figured out before joining an accelerator. you don’t. you need to be building something you can’t stop thinking about. we’re looking for 25 founders who are early, ambitious, and a little obsessed with what they’re building. 3 cities. 3 months. $200K upfront. if that sounds like you, you know where to find us.

Wake up new accelerator dropped 🫡
We’re launching the 16VC Accelerator, our first accelerator. We previously launched an online fellowship, and one thing became clear: founders learn faster when they’re in the room together. So we’re taking it offline. 25 founders. 3 cities. $200K upfront. SF · NYC · London We’ll work alongside founders on product, customers, distribution, hiring, fundraising and everything in between. This isn’t about building the biggest cohort. It’s about being genuinely useful to the founders we select. Apply by Oct 4 tiny.cc/16vcapply
