We're thrilled to announce our next speaker batch for Local-First Conf 2026.

New shirt idea for @sync_conf

@pfrazee is the CTO at @bluesky and one of the codesigners of the AT Protocol. He's going to talk about the Atmosphere's ideals about open computing, and how the team views tackling scale as core to the mission.

"AI is really shaking up everything. I think this does not make local-first at all, less relevant. I think this is, as for most things, a huge tailwind. " @schickling

Want to learn about a radical local desktop app that takes advantage of local-first principles for AI? Things that might be impossible (or very dangerous!) in a regular web app suddenly are possible. Then come listen to @tldraw founder @steveruizok speak at Local-First Conf 2026. July 12–14, Berlin

Our third #special is out. CfP for @localfirstconf 2026 is open. @_adamwiggins_ and Johannes @schickling discuss this year’s conference themes.
