Next.js Request Insights devtool
TLDR: Allows you to quickly inspect where time was spent for individual requests
Details:
We've been exploring adding a new tab to the Next.js devtools that visualizes the tracing data that is already collected during development.
When a request comes in to the server Next.js already instruments it end-to-end for e.g. OpenTelemetry.
Sometimes you just want to inspect where time was spent for a particular request and setting up a telemetry report is too much work, especially in development. That's where this tool fits in to get a quick overview of where time was spent.
There's some more work to do to cover some missing spans, for example the route matching.
Also exploring some design changes.

IE3が8月で3年目に突入したのでちょっと時間経っちゃったけど毎年恒例という事で2025-2026のリールつくりました！🫶
もう今年は音から作りまして、200BPMのクリックとサイン波だけをPythonで音響合成しながら映像カットを8分格子に合わせてベース作成。（Sunoも色々試したけどメロディ消せなくてムキーなってもう自前合成に戻った）
結構気に入ったので途中からGUI作り始めてDTMツール制作に入り出した😂危
素材は自動切出し+αで600枚のプールからコードで並べ替え。章毎のタイトルは別途作ってあった自作システムのPILで200枚出して選定。編集はDaVinciで。
3年目も引き続き色々作れたらいいなーと思うので皆様ぜひよろしくお願いします！🙇🙏
