What if checking your emails was actually a game? 📩 Introducing Inbox Kingdom, where every new contact gets their own house, you can send and receive emails through people or even pigeons, and people literally stand outside your castle waiting for you to reply :D This was such a fun idea to build. I just wanted to think of a way to make one of our most boring daily chores a little more interesting. And Claude Opus 5.5 did it so, so well. Of course, this is just a prototype, but imagine actually building this out. We could take it way further and make it feel like Age of Empires for your inbox. This was inspired by @DilumSanjaya’s work, where he turned warehouses management into a really cool 3D experience. So what do you think,.. Would you actually use something like this? :D

Love the visuals! But I'm gonna need a "throw them out of the kingdom" option for some senders 😉

We definitely need that, maybe another where you actually punish them for doing phishing attacks too 🤣

This is one of the best ideas I’d never thought of, by the way. I can assure you my game would crash my computer from the sheer number of emails I have across 21 accounts... yes, 21 fkng mails full of spam and crap lol

Turning an inbox into a little kingdom is such a fun hook — the house-per-contact idea makes something we all dread feel personal. Curious how you handle it when the inbox gets really busy, does the town get chaotic?

It kinda does, but you can snooze some of them, sending them to the Kingdom’s watchtower for a while and they’ll only return to you once their timer runs out :D

the concept of turning emails into a game sounds fun, but it might get overwhelming fast

That's brilliant. I would finally achieve inbox zero.
