I want to share a news that got me excited for the future of NFTs ! On Monday, national French post @GroupeLaPoste successfully launched a NFT STAMP collection on the @tezos blockchain. It's not just a timid attempt at catching up a trend, it's a dedicated website ready to launch many stamp collections over time. The target isn't our small NFT circles, but instead regular philatelists, as the stamps are official, physical ones. The NFT that comes with a stamp is a digital counterpart, that displays the same artwork as the physical stamp. The website, that I've tested, it crystal clear and seamless. There's absolutely zero knowledge to have about blockchain and no single mention of cryptocurrency. It just works. ( it seems they just create a new #tezos wallet for you and the NFTs will be minted there as FA2 standard ). For me it was the shocking news that I had been waiting for ( thanks Luke500 for the info on zancan Discord 🌿) It's hard to understate how much an institution the French post is. It's a nationalized company that exists since 1477, just think about that. It is deeply rooted in the society and holds genuine social values. They are also a bank and provide all sort of daily services to our people. To see that they adopted the blockchain technology for what it's best at, makes A LOT of sense to me. Stamps are historical collectibles, they hold monetary value and have utility. They display art, make it accessible to all levels of society. Thank you @GroupeLaPoste for trusting the Tezos blockchain for it fundamental core values. For using the term NFT without hindrance because you understood those good values and thought that they aligned with yours. It's a beautiful day 🌞 👇 nftimbre.com/ ("Timbre" means "stamp" in French ) Kudos to @LabosNomades for putting up this seamless experience and historic use case, and artist @Faunesque for being the first #NFTimbre artist !

Hey CISO colleagues and other hiring managers. If someone has a Bow Tied Cyber program on their resume, it would be prudent to conduct additional due diligence. Their discord was full of highly inappropriate comments against @notshenetworks and @TracketPacer.

100%. Shift the grunty work off to a serious workstation or cloud or whatever.

Just enough RAM to rdesktop/VNC/NoMX/SSH to a decent workstation or cloud. Screen and keyboard are higher priorities.

A disturbing story. medium.com/@amy_riveter/the-… Seems like the sort of thing that would need to be addressed by anyone wanting to restore rule of law.

A friend asked me to find out why his connected lightbulb app was asking for his location, so I ducked out to Australia’s favourite hardware store, Bunnings, and grabbed one to check out. The Android grid connect app has 500k+ downloads. Let’s take a quick look! 🧵 (1/n)

Out of the top 50 cryptocurrencies by market cap; 19 are centralized/permissioned! Meaning they can steal user funds or block transactions (censorship) Either through admin keys or permissioned elements in base layer design The greatest risk lies in a lack of decentralization!
