This time of year is another reminder that any politician who spends their time tearing down their opposition rather than focusing on their campaign and what they want to bring to the table isn’t a politician for you.

Whichever side a politician is on, the focus should not be, in my opinion, tearing down that person. The focus should be what hasn’t been done during the time that person has been in power and what can I do differently.
There was an era of politics where this was the case and it has since subsided and the largest disconnect is that you need the people behind you, focusing on belittling a representative of that populous isn’t going to bring that community of voters together to your vision, it is only going to further solidify that you are the enemy, and the division will only continue.
