We are on the verge of a civilizational change. Yet outside of books, there is an intense philosophical void. Little thread.

Simulon is insanely good. Anyone remotely interested in 3D, CG, and cinema should toy with it for fun. You can do this in 3 minutes, app download included. Try it.
Here’s how @Simulon Reality-Aware Rendering works. I placed my raptor next to the water and dropped a stone in to see how he’d respond. His 3D placement sets his starting position and scale. When the recording starts, he becomes a ghost, leaving me to shape the performance through actions, gestures and spoken instructions. Simulon uses the recorded scene to generate his behaviour and integrate him into the footage afterward. Instead of typing a prompt, spinning the slot machine and hoping for the best, you can show it, say it and perform it. Your intent, timing and spatial context are right there in the recording. It’s a much more intuitive way to create. This breakdown is generated procedurally, summarising the actual reasoning behind the result.

It hurts, but it’s true.
If we want to continue progress in science, we must be prepared to acknowledge that the correct description of nature will eventually simply be too complicated for humans to understand. I do not think it is wise to make human understanding a requirement. AI is the way forward.

Before you can even build, you need to clean house. By having the courage to do unpopular but necessary reforms. No more money printing. Rigorous spending, budget surplus, debt repayment. Lower taxation, which requires to rethink the state around efficiency & its core missions. No more infantilizing nanny state. Fewer public workers. To attract the top talents from the private, huge financial incentives for successful state programs rather than flat compensation regardless of performance. Pensions have to be demographically balanced + the system has to evolve to capitalization rather than the current generational ponzi scam transferring wealth from the youth to the old, who already own most of the real estate. Massive simplification of the entire legal code (90% reduction). Systemic review by AI, looking for loopholes, incoherences, redundant articles, and opportunities to simplify. Strict secularism. Dramatically increased safety for all, and in particular women, jews and LGBT, who are currently unsafe. Remigration of the foreign criminals, abusers & saboteurs with incompatible values / anti-west rhetoric. And so much more.

Spain. France. Italy. The exact same mass-produced thugs, dressed exactly the same way everywhere, are destroying the civilisation that welcomed them. This is just training. They are preparing. They are mapping out how far they can go. It's time to draw the line.
Milan right now.

In the West, after the devastation caused by tribalism during World War II, we evolved past it, abandoning collectives in favor of the individual. We naively believed the rest of the world followed. But many still follow a tribal "us" vs "them" mindset.
Een Syriër die in de UK woont, reist naar Parijs om mee te rellen. Tijdens zijn livestream roept hij op om hetzelfde in het Verenigd Koninkrijk, London te doen. Dit heeft het Westen massaal geïmporteerd.

Remember this? Yeah.
The battle of narratives is going strong. Our countries are a recurring target. It is time to act to tell the stories that make us strong. Let’s live our own story! Protect what matters - our democracy.

Heartbroken to see France burning like this. Everything we cherish is at risk. Our museums like The Louvres, our castles like Versailles, our monuments, it's all open target for looters, leftists & haters of the West. Either we are willing to defend it, or we will lose it 100%.

France is arguably the most leftist country on earth & it's still not sufficiently left enough for the protestors there is free healtcare, free education, they work 35-hours a week, 6 week vacation, there is retirement accounts, free immigration, etc the goal is a total destruction of a functioning country, no military, no police, no laws, whatever goes you can not capitulate to the mob, they are finding out & hopefully others wake up

GoldenEye 007 N64 is now available on PC, thanks to Project Midas! Get your friends together and play some splits-screen multiplayer, or work hard for those cheat unlocks just like back in 1997. This is a love letter from the whole GoldenEye community, and we hope you enjoy it!

The games we've long wanted, which didn't exist because they'd cost several times more to make than they'd earn back, will soon become possible. As will the games developers wanted to build, but couldn't with the resources available. It'll be a new golden age of gaming.

Legendary track. Blessed to have been able to use it for The Last Night’s trailer, entirely designed around it.
My take on the 4th-dimensional spacetime trend, playing with one of my fav music videos ever (Acid Rain – Lorn)… I feel this treatment connects so well with the meaning of the video… an inevitable dance through the Last time, wishing to never cross over.
