I value building things. The process - from conception to design to setbacks to completion - is often a miniaturized crucible from which I learn something about myself. It's storage for pool and ping-pong accessories. Simple, simple. I'm happy with how it turned out.

I could not be prouder of my wife, Jamie, who successfully defended her master's thesis proposal at the University of Manitoba yesterday. Her advisors are ecstatic about her research and they are already pushing her towards a doctorate. I am so proud!! She's amazing!

I used the word 'multiliteracies' in an ag presentation today. My wife, a Grade 4 teacher, whose master's studies are focused on literacy, might be proud; might be incredulous; might be something I know not yet what. Thanks for having me out, @MBGovAg! It was a great event!
