I remain here, in Gaza, in the same reality I wrote about, facing fear and helplessness, trying to protect my children from a merciless reality. I cannot close my suffering like closing a page on my phone, nor can I postpone the cold and rain until someone notices us.
I am a young man from Gaza supporting my mother, who suffers from a heart condition, my elderly father, and nine other family members, five of whom are children. We live in a cramped, tattered tent, and today the cold gnaws at our bodies at night. Our worn-out tent no longer protects us even from the wind.
I need your support to build a simple tent for my family before winter intensifies.
I don't know how to explain it better. It pains me to have to expose my vulnerability to everyone and repeat my pleas, when all I want is to be able to protect my family from impossible circumstances they did not choose.
I don't blame those who cannot donate, but please, don't just read my words and move on. Please help me with any donation you can make, no matter how small, and don't deprive me of the opportunity to reach those who can help us.

The situation my family and I are living in in Gaza is catastrophic, so catastrophic that words fail to describe it.
When a tent is all you have, and survival is your only goal, you start to hope someone will hear you.
Our lives have changed beyond words, from our humble home to a makeshift tent in the mud. We face the harsh winter cold, living through days filled with fear and exhaustion, not knowing what tomorrow holds.
Since our arrival, our tent has deteriorated and torn to pieces. Today, a large family, including several young children, lives in half a tent that no longer offers us any protection.
We can't bear this cold in our dilapidated tent, and we don't have enough to protect our children from the harsh winter. My mother has a heart condition.
All we want is a simple shelter where we can sleep safely, away from the rain and cold.
We need to raise $800 to replace the plastic sheeting and reinforce the frame with wood to protect us before the rains intensify.
This amount may seem small to some, but for us, it means a roof over our children's heads to protect them from the winter cold.
Please help my family in Gaza and be a reason for us to have some safety amidst all this pain. 🙏🥹
